edit: oh, maybe you mean booted as in "thrown off the show by the producers"? (I've only been watching since Thailand)

Uh, Christa hot? What show are you watching? (That's even before she opens her mouth.)
None of the remaining Survivor babes are that interesting to me. They're certainly no Amber.

Burton made a mistake by suggesting they throw the challange.
But I don't get the rest of the tribe throwing him out so fast.
Keep him around for as long as you need him then get rid of him.
I don't understand throwing off your strongest members first.
Get rid of the weaklings that don't contribute first.
Treasure sucked. Bad job by Survivor on keeping everything waterproof.
I also hate Jon. What an a$$*$#@ !
He is creepy.
Please vote him off ASAP !
Probst definately hates him.
At TC he asked him if he was loaded then what his method of voting was. Jon said something stupid about the stars and Probst comes back with, is that a fair way of voting for someone your friends with ?

What was up with all the wrestling references by Jon? He has such an uncomfortable personality and I guess thats what makes it entertaining. He's trying too hard to be cool and funny.
Did anyone catch what Jon wrote on his eviction card when they showed it during credits? Something like BERT 'n Ernie and some other things I couldn't read. I wonder if the producers/Probst purposely didn't reveal Jon's vote during the eviction (his was the "vote that remains a mystery").

You can tell as every season goes, by, Jeff Probst seems to get more and more annoyed with the contestants. His fuse seems to get shorter every season and lately he has been cracking me up with the snarky remarks during tribal council.

You get rid of the physical threats after the tribes merge not before. They could need Burton to keep beating Morgan.
Here's an article talking about how stupid it was to throw the challenge and get rid of Burton so soon:
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2003/...in577828.shtml
"Short term, they have nearly guaranteed a reward challenge loss in the next challenge if it is physical. With a borrowed Rupert, Andrew, Ryan and Osten, Team Morgan has a definitive strength advantage. It also brings Team Morgan’s morale back up to a level where they at least have some hope. They now could take one or two challenges and really get back into the game. "
"No matter how much of a physical threat Burton is, it’s not like he was going to win seven individual immunity challenges and take the game. No player is immune forever. "
In other news, Christa was married last month.

If so, he could sabotage them big time.

Why screw himself for the merger? Unless he thinks they will continue to win challenges and there won't be another tribe come 'merge' time.

This quote is from hearth in the TV section at tivo community:
" I guess that this hasn't reached "common knowledge" yet (especially since it hasn't been revealed yet on the show), but "Jon" has a second job, on the weekends. He is an professional wrestler on the Indy (non-WWE) circuit. His "stage" name is "Johnny Fairplay". If you go back and watch the last 15 minutes of the show, you will hear him refer to himself as "Johnny Fairplay" several times, as well as make numerous pro wrestling references (Ric Flair, etc). If you notice, he likes to strut around making the "peace sign" with both hands, which was made famous by a couple of major pro wrestlers. He is strickly a small-time performer (the kind that wrestles in front of 500 people at the local high school), but this fact may explain alot of his behavior.
The question is, when/if will this fact be revealed on air..."
I also found this story at PWTorch.com:
"Survivor" Series.
When last we tuned in to the Adventures of Johnny Fairplay on Survivor: Pearl Islands, his fellow castaways seemed to be contemplating losing just so they could vote him off the island and maybe even off the planet.
This week's episode had an element of pro wrestling to it in more ways than one. The immunity challenge was made to order for someone with wrestling skills, but since Rupert and Burton were trying to lose (a scheme that later came back to bite old Burt in the butt), they sat out the contest. That left Fairplay, the resident wrestler, to get side-slammed into the water by a girl. But that didn't stop him. He continued to "entertain" his tribe with impressions of the Macho Man and Booker T, and even some boozy styling and profiling, a la Ric Flair, before running buck nekked into the ocean, displaying his "pure white heiny," as one of his teammates described it. (Not a pretty sight, even with pixels.)
Johnny Fairplay is safe for another week, since Burton the schemer (and his enormous ego) were voted off the island.
