The Lyon's Den 10/5/03 - aspect ratio?
I just finished watching the second episode of the series, my question is: the pilot aired in letterbox format on standard television, yet the second episode was in 4:3 ratio. Whats the deal here? I realize that television shows shot in HD are really shot for 2 aspect ratios, so both are technically "right", but I really prefer the widescreen format...it just looks better. Anyone know anything about this, such as did NBC or did the producers decide to air it in 4:3 on standard television signals, or was this possibly just a mistake?
