I meant to start this last weekend but got so busy... finally, the Sci Fi Cult TV tournament is here!! Vote for your favorite in each match!

I had so many shows nominated last week I decided to make it a 64 show tournament instead of 32 shows. All the shows that got 2 or more nominations made the tournament... the rest were picked randomly from the shows with one nomination to round out the 64.

a few notes...

- Matches were picked at random.. so please don't complain thats your favorite show got a bad match in the opening round, it was the luck of the cards.

- Please don't complain the show "X" isn't a "real" sci fi or cult show... these are the shows that were nominated. Blame the people who nominated them!

1-Zone, easily no explanation necessary
2-Ultraviolet, a bit closer, I just loved the excellent performances and character development
3-Peaks, easily more culty
4-Buck Rogers, wins by the thinness of Erin Gray's spandex outfits
5-Gothic-oooohh, a toughie, I dug both of these shows. I feel that 1999 is much more culty, but Gothic was far better quality.
6-Circus, see below.
7-Avengers, any cast. Megalocamp.
8-Reboot-Invisible Man was good, but I have a Hexadecimal action figure for a reason.

Glad to see a few of my choices among the early competitors. Just the Ten of Us was an interesting nomination. If it somehow advances a few rounds, does it sort of negate the legitimacy of our little tourney? Perhaps it was more of a cult show than I remember.

Despite being a bit cheesy and dated, I Still love watching Space: 1999 and Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea is my #1 want for TV shows on DVD that isn't out or announced yet.
