She has pretty good chemistry with the team and is quite the looker. The whole messing up of english slang/sayings was wearing a bit thin by the end.

Not impressed with the Ziva character at all. I would prefer they kept the NCIS agent from last week who almost was killed by the copycat killer. The whole Gibbs/Ziva "dislike but really do like" each other stuff is boring. The best scenes are always the ones with Abby. Wow, her body looked GREAT putting on the shirt, even over the huge tat! Overall, a pretty blah episode, IMO.

I was thinking the same thing last week (since I already had read that they were going to bring back the Ziva character).

I could not agree more. Abby is what keeps bringing me back to this show week after week.

Abby gets an assistant - LOL - who immediately must review hours of porn with her. Bud is the man (several times) this ep, and Tony and the new girl pick up where he and Kate left off.
Oh, yeah, and the plot about the on-line "murder" of a desperate housewife.

Tony rattles off the prices of porn site subscriptions at different levels.
"That sounds like a lot of research."
"Well, I do a lot of work at home."

This one had a lot of laughs in it: i.e. Tony trying to turn on a vibrator, his slams on "probie" ("Don't mind him, he's never been in a woman's bedroom","you have a girlfriend?"), Abby's interaction with "Chip" and that whole scene in the webmaster's basement.

NCIS is quickly becoming one of my favorites.

I like Abby's line about not being flexible eoungh after watching hours of porn.

I love this show.

I thought Tony was trying to turn off the vibrator and Ziva tells him how to do it. :D

I wasn't sure how Ziva would fit in, but she seems to be managing very well.

Nice touch to have the more senior members all have assistants. Some of the best comedy comes from the senior members teaching the new members. Wonder if "Chip" will become a recurring character?

Isn't the guy who plays Chip the guy who was Bud's brother on JAG?

Now that you mention it, I think it is. I knew I've seen him before. McGee's actor had a role on JAG as well (not as McGee). I guess the producers like the work some actors do and give them other roles.

"Chip" is Midshipmen Roberts (Bud's brother) with a wierd mustache

I liked this episode - kind of predictable though.

Don't know what to think of "Chip".

BUT

What was the deal with Gibbs and the little girl sanding the boat at the end. Does Gibbs have a daughter that I have missed somehow? I have seen every episode from season 2 and I thought I had seen all of season 1, but I did not understand this.

Why is this in spoilers? lol

I didnt catch the end, but she's probably a daughter of his from a previous marriage. They never really talk about his ex-wives

Chip is incredibly not needed, it can only end one of two ways. Either he ends up going postal on someone, or does something that earns him a bunch of respect then gets killed by another "villain" that's out for Gibs.

The little girl I think is a possible daughter he had with one of his 200 ex-wives. Maybe she died.

I seem to remember that they said that the mother and little girl died (it was said in passing), but i may be wrong.

Watching NCIS made me think. What about the other agents need for forensic work. Abby seems to spend all her time on Gibbs' cases. Are there other labs for other teams or she somehow fit their work in as well. I know, I know, its a TV show but I wondered it.

Enjoyed Gibbs's paternal instincts kicking in, and that last flash of Gibb with his daughter (assumption) working on his boat, leads to yet another slice of Gibbs' life we probably won't find out for a while.

Poor Chip, can't catch a break (not liking the character, anyway).

Tony has to have the worse bad guy "radar" in his interest in the opposite sex (I knew right off that's where it'd end up, then again, it seems like a motif of this show, as Gibbs and Ducky both also had to deal with women they were interested in in a way that closed out their cases). Plus, who can forget Tony's date with the tranny last season. Heh.

I read somewhere that Chip is not what everyone thinks he is, and that they opened up something bad when he was brought in to work with Abby. I think they are going to make him go off in the next few weeks, maybe a hostage/death situation for sweeps?? Either way, he is only on for a limited number of eps, so he wont be around forever.

Liked it as always. I think this is the best Ziva's looked since she's been on. I'm not missing Kate as much.

That little kid was awesome. Reminded me of the little kid from last season's premiere.

"chip" needs to end up being Midshipman, or would he have graduated and be Ensign by now?, Roberts on some sort of undercover audit of the NCIS crime lab. Maybe working directly for the secnav or JAG

The guy that was retiring is the real NCIS Director in a cameo.

Wasn't really suprised by Chip's predicament. Great tag line though. Abby, "Now can I not have an assistant?" or words to that effect.

Abby's line to end the show was good.

I got a kick out of Tony's self-interrogation.

Gotta love the fact that Abby can kick the crap out of some guy wielding a knife and have him trussed up like an Xmas present waiting for Gibbs!! She is the best part of this show for me, hands down!
