But you gotta admit it was funny.

Maybe sometime down the road Gibbs will ask someone if they think his life story is just the imagination of an autistic kid looking into a snow globe.

I too watch this show every week after only starting to watch it this year. I have caught up on the first 2 seasons via downloads and really like how this show is put together and the people in it.

Kal-El 05-10-06 11:12 AM

Been watching since the beginning of last season and never miss an episode. One of the more underrated shows out there. Love the Jessica Alba reference.

Not too crazy about the Filipino terrorists though. :(

I can't quite recall what that was about. Can anyone remind me?

didn't like this episode. liked the back story on gibbs but the rest was below average. should have concentrated more of the story on gibbs back story.

Michael Weatherly, who plays Tony starred with, and for a time was married to her. :D

And he said something about his character having a better chance of making out with Jessica Alba than...something else happening. Can't quite recall it right now.

Well, one Filipino was an agent working with NCIS so it kinda balances out. Its not like there aren't terrorists in the Philippines or anything.

Abby rocks :rock2:

Well when the time comes where EVERY reference to Islamic terrorists becomes offensive and protests occur, we'll reach the age of the Mormon terrorist, which'll be okay since they'll be white.

Wonder what is up with all the movie references lately. Almost seems like the ghost of Remington Steele has taken over Tony.

Funny that McGee said that even after watching The Usual Suspects twice, he still didn't understand about Keyser Soze.

Bose Pro 05-14-06 12:22 PM

I watch this show all the time. I also have nearly every episode downloaded. Season 1 comes out on DVD next month.

I thought this episode was a little empty. There have been several better regular episodes. Will have to wait to see part 2.

Weatherly was never married to Jessica Alba. They were dating and got engaged when they were co-stars on Dark Angel. However, they eventually called off their engagement.

Ah, ok... I've seen a few episodes of Dark Angel and never even realized that was him, lol.

Thanks :)

Patman 05-14-06 07:22 PM

Well, Michael Weatherly (Dinozzo) was in a wheelchair as Logan, and wore glasses when he was on "Dark Angel".

mikehunt 05-15-06 08:06 PM

anyone else think the white cop in Gone in 60 Seconds is the long lost twin of Weatherly?

TheMovieman 05-16-06 12:59 PM

NCIS -- "Hiatus, Part II" (Season Finale) -- 5/16/06

Spoiler:
While Gibbs recovers from an injury caused by a bomb explosion, he experiences temporary memory loss, while his team tries to stop a terrorist group from carrying out a devastating attack on the Navy.

I'm really enjoying this show so hopefully this finale will be good...

bigsoos 05-16-06 07:58 PM

all I can say is whoa

wildcatlh 05-16-06 08:13 PM

He'll be back... right? right? right?

cdoug57 05-16-06 10:00 PM

What is going on?

Gibbs has to be back. Anyone, anyone...

TheMovieman 05-17-06 12:08 AM

I don't know. A previous EW issue said that someone would leave... I'd assume he will be back because as much as I like the other guy, Harmon pulls much more weight to the show.

Another reason I hope it's not his last episode: why couldn't they have changed him out of his hospital gown?? I realize it was an urgent matter but seeing him say his goodbyes like that was... I don't know, strange. Surely it would've been believable he could change on the way over and on the elevator, yes?

DJariya 05-17-06 03:11 AM

That's a very surprising exit for Harmon. I wonder if it was his decision or Bellisario to write him off the show. He must have alot of confidence that Michael Weatherly can carry the show and be a leader. Either that or CBS wanted to cater the show to a younger demographic and wanted Weatherly to be the guy.

Anyways, I'm glad Gibbs is still alive and could possibly return as a guest star in the future.

DJariya 05-17-06 03:34 AM

I also think that it's extremely difficult for an actor to work 15 hour days for 10 months a year and maybe the grind of that schedule was getting to Harmon and he needed a break. I know that's the reason why Sasha Alexander left.

Legolas 05-17-06 03:50 AM

Is he actually leaving or is this just a set up for his grand return to duty when something big happens next season? Mark Harmon's never said anything ill about the show, and we all know he's big on doing TV shows.

B.A. 05-17-06 04:00 AM

I can't believe that he would be leaving the show after only three seasons.

David Caruso wanted to leave NYPD Blue after one season. But he was a prima donna.

Sherry Stringfield left NYPD Blue after one year and ER after two or three (before coming back to a virtually nonexistant role), but she's just stupid.

Then again, Harmon's had a very successful TV run and has only bailed on one show (which was storyline-related). I don't think he's going anywhere. This'll be a retirement that'll be resolved in the season premiere... sort of like 24 cliffhangers that get resolved in the opening minute of the next episode.

mikehunt 05-17-06 06:40 AM

I don't think he's gone for good
