They often run repeats of Cold Case, NCIS, CSI or CSI:Miami on Saturday.

NCIS 11/16

AAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I hate it when guest star actors play different characters* on shows set in the same "universe"

* exceptions made for things like star trek where an actor can play different species with completely different looks, exceptions also made for vastly different time frames.
but JAG and NCIS take place at the same time frame. and yes chedwiggen's old gf's son playing someone else bothers me a bit too

resinrats 11-16-04 08:19 PM

Who did he play in NCIS? I guess I don't remember what he looks like.

mikehunt 11-16-04 10:00 PM

He plays "probie" can't remember his character's real name

the character's name is McGee

bigsoos 11-17-04 12:06 AM

just happy to get my Abby fix, lol

BigDan 11-17-04 12:24 AM

At least they're different shows. On Law & Order, the same actors will often show up multiple times playing different characters (Bruce Altman, for example, has shown up on the regular Law & Order six times playing five different characters. He's also managed to play another different character on Law & Order: SVU and yet another different character on Law & Order: CI).

Wasn't the main storyline also carried over from a Jag episode from last year. I seem to remember the actress playing a naval aviator and Jethro did mention an Article 32 hearing. If it is, thought it was a nice continuity crossover.

BigDan 11-17-04 12:01 PM

The characters had different names, so they weren't the same despite the similarities.

duz 11-17-04 12:12 PM

What is up with the black and white replay shots? I don't recall those in season one.
oh, and good episode even if a bit predictable.

pilot 11-17-04 12:27 PM

I loved when Abby was describing the pictures on the computer or whatever, and Jethro was like "what?" and she goes "machine making pretty pictures" ..and him and the FBI lady with the USB drive..great stuff

mikehunt 11-17-04 04:06 PM

on JAG she was a navy pilot but a lesbian so they booted her out. she later turned up working for the CIA when Harm did and they were co pilots of the c130 for an episode or two

I agree, the making pictures line was great

-snip-

Those are new this season, and I find them EXTREMELY annoying, especially with the funky little sound effect that goes with them.

Good episode overall, although I was expecting the husband to be the bomber, or at least take advantage of the situation to get rid of his wife.

Ncis 11/23

Pretty cool episode

Spoiler:
A man who earned the Medal of Honor on Iwo Jima comes in to NCIS HQ and tries to confess to murdering his best friend. Gibbs doesn't believe him but has to investigate because the man also wrote a letter confessing his crime to the Secretary of the Navy. While a hot shot procescutor wants the man charged, Gibbs tries to prove his innocence.

Some good moments with both Abby and Kate in this show.

bigsoos 11-24-04 01:44 AM

Need more Abby in the episodes

meglet 11-24-04 01:34 PM

Great moment with Tony pulling the older man's tie aside so the Marines trying to arrest him had to back off and salute his medal instead! It was different to see Gibbs so adamant about clearing the guy just because he earned a medal, Gibbs is usually a little more broad-minded than that.

cdoug57 11-24-04 01:56 PM

Thought this was a great change of pace episode. It was nice to see Gibbs trying to clear someone who clearly felt he was at the end of his rope.

Great moment alluded to in above post where the officers, including the Jag lawyer were suprised by his medal.

I just loved the scene where Kate was dancing and she had the tears slowly moving down her cheek.

A really good episode, should have been broadcast closer to Veteran's Day.

Patman 11-29-04 02:57 PM

Kate, with the longer hair, looks very hot this season.

Shady12 11-30-04 01:31 AM

I never watched this show, but was over at my parents one night and they were watching it so so did I..was the one where the gals were being kept prisoner and wore wedding dresses.. Been watching since.. Really good show..better than CSI..has good character and humor..Only other crime type show I like as much is Without a Trace.
