"Ready, Steady, Go" -- Paul Oakenfold
das |
I don't have the pilot on my replayTV anymore, but I think that it was:
Ready Steady Go by Paul Oakenfold. It can be found on his Bunkka album. I know that song was in the pilot, not sure if it is the one you want though. Edited: Gah! Beaten by the monkey when I was fact checking the album. :) |
That musical piece is pretty cool. Also, probably the coolest opening 2 minutes to a television show/pilot ever.
|
Well, I did waste a good 30 seconds checking the spelling of Oakenfold. :)

"Blood and Sand"
Ed and Danny referee clashes between rival camps during the premiere boxing match of the year; Danny threatens to cancel the fight after the theft of a manager's prosthetic limb; Ed becomes suspicious of the fluctuating odds on an under-card fight. Cast: James Caan, Josh Duhamel, Molly Sims, Nikki Cox, James Lesure, Marsha Thomason, Vanessa Marcil, Sugar Shane Mosley, Michael Buffer. Producer(s): Gary Scott Thompson, Scott Steindorff, Justin Falvey, Darryl Frank. Another good ep, but I just can't believe that Mike would give back the money and not go to Tahiti w/ Delinda and Neesa. Damn, all of the girls looked good tonight. Ed and Danny's story was pretty good, too. |
Nikki Cox:drool:
Almost made up for having Vanessa Marcils's character get sick thus stopping here from being the ringcard girl:down: Ed's line about bitchslapping those guys so hard their children would be well behaved was great:lol: |

I liked Mike's fantasy. Gotta follow through on it though.
|
The ring girl segment was worth it to get my HDTV reception working for NBC last night (it comes in on a VHF channel, so I had to set up a second antenna to pull in the signal).
Overall, 2 decent subplots (with the blue man money the weakest subplot). |
Originally posted by B.A.hist Almost is the key word - I was looking forward to it, too, but you knew it wasn't going to happen due to the show's intro. Last night's show didn't seem all that exciting too me, but maybe that's because I was falling asleep all night. |
another solid ep and nikki cox !
wow damm! and Sam in that sexy suit showing her bra ! damm ! |
I guess I'm in the minority here because I thought this ep was pretty weak. In fact, I think the last 3-4 eps have been pretty weak. It seems like they try to do too much and, as a result, most of the subplots end up falling flat.

It was a bit of a weak episode, but the extra T&A made up for it.

"Hellraisers and Heartbreakers", Episode #113.
Ed's former CIA buddy (Alec Baldwin) installs a security system which immediately detects a breach made by a computer hacker staying at the hotel. Cast: James Caan, Josh Duhamel, Molly Sims, Nikki Cox, James Lesure, Marsha Thomason, Vanessa Marcil, Alec Baldwin, Brooks And Dunn. Producer(s): Gary Scott Thompson, Scott Steindorff, Justin Falvey, Darryl Frank. Good ep. Baldwin played Alec Baldwin, which is always good in my book. But the main part of the show was Sam breaking down her walls in regards to Danny, who buy the way is one lucky bastard. As always, the ladies looked good, except Nessa needs to go back to her 'fro and get rid of the extensions. |
I sort of like Neesa's straight hair look.
I guess Mike is valeting less cars nowadays. Go, Danny, Go! |
Great episode. Once again, Big Ed is a step ahead.
Marsha Thompson is so much hotter with straight hair - I first saw her with straight hair in The Haunted Mansion and noticed how much better she looks. There are very few woman who actually look better with curly hair. |

I don't think Marsha Thompson looks bad w/ straight hair at all, I just didn't care for the extensions she had in it - just looked too cheap or something. This was definitely the best overall ep in a while. I'm glad to see that they are sticking w/ Danny and the crutches, instead of ignoring the fact that he was shot in the foot not too long ago. Most shows would have sped up the healiing process instead of having their star gimp around on crutches. |
That was a pretty impresive mask of Ed that the dude from Beetlejuice made.
|
Mind you I have the two (2) earlier episodes saved (havent watched yet), but this episode was painful to watch.
I really felt bad for Brooks and Dunn having to listen to their own stuff while playing craps all episode long. Im sorry, but if you didnt see Spoiler:
Reading the news that The Handler's last episode is this Friday I wouldnt be surprised if LV is the next to go. |

It has good ratings (one of the few new shows that is actually doing well), and it should only get stronger since MNF (which shares a key demographic) is now over. |
I think it's called "wishful thinking".
|
Did anyone else hear that Britney Spears and Paris Hilton are considering guest appearences on the show? Just heard it on the radio last week.
|
I thought it was a good show though pretty obvious that Baldwin would be the theif. I knew what he was doin right away when he had the guy try on the mask.
But I got a question, whats the deal with Mike parking cars and being a high tech computer whiz, (i havnt seen many episodes.) It just seems a guy with that technical expertise would be wasted as a valet. |
