I have always been curious to remember the name of a British sitcom I saw sometime in the early 90's or so. I probably saw it around '95 on PBS.

The basic premise was a group of mechanics working at a garage. Can't recall much more than that but most of the show seemed to take place there. I think they were mostly men with one attractive woman and that seemed to be a source for some of the jokes.

Does that spark a memory for anyone?

Edit: If it helps, I believe it was aired back to back with The Chef.

I believe the show you're talking about was called Bingles, or something like that. I think it was actually an Australian show, but I remember it well.

I always thought that Mimi from the Drew Carey show was a direct rip-off of the receptionist from that show. Same outrageous clothes and attitude. They also had a young Fonzie-type character.

It was Bingles. I probably wouldn't have ever figured that out but that is definitely the one I was thinking of.
