Well, the judges didn't like California.

Florida just about shoved Hawaii off the stage once she realized she'd won the crown.

Watching last year's winner try to pin the crown on Florida was hilarious.

But Florida was not one of my faves.

What's Wisconsin going to do with more scholarship money, she's already through medical school.

Ya California got a bum deal.

Florida had the lock.

They call this a "Scholarship Competition" yet several of the ladies have already graduated college.

Maybe they can use the scholarship to pay for the money they borrowed to go to college in the first place?

Or any procedures that they had done to get to where they are at.

I have to remind myself that this is a scholarship pageant and not a beauty pageant. At least Hawaii beat Miss Wisconsin (my boss is from Wisconsin and he was saying that she'll win).

I'm in the west coast so I still don't know the winner yet. But from what I've seen, Miss Wisconsin is just so much more talented than other contestants. Why didn't she win?

She didn't sing some dumb pop or R&B song. The judges don't know what to do with a cellist.

I hate 'em all, except Wisconsin, who was my pick. The others were just so damn pretentious. They should've rename this contest to "look, I bleach my teeth 3 times a day."

I think I know why she didn't do better than ending up at 3rd place. On the knowledge test, she did extremely bad, worst of all contestants. I think the judges want Miss America to be someone who are at least knowledgeable about the world events.

Yeah, she laid a big rotten egg on that one, kind of hard to believe for someone brilliant enough to graduate medical school at 22. I guess she was so busy with med school and celloing she didn't know what was going on in the world. But my understanding is that that quiz was a pretty small percentage of the final score (was it 5%?).

I noticed California and Maryland had really big mouths as well...
