My Alias adventure is about to begin...
So I never watched Alias because I was watching the last dying gasps of X-Files. Then the other day someone told me the crazy season 2 ending of Alias and I thought "Alright, that sounds killer. I'm gonna catch up." So I blind-ordered season 1 and it just arrived. Just thought I'd see what Alias fans think of all that. we're gonna watch the first couple eps tonight.

Enjoy. The first episode is a good indicator of the style and presentation of the show. If you enjoy it, you'll likely enjoy the rest of it. It's a bit over the top at times, but it's all sorts of crazy fun and is incredibly entertaining. Have fun.

I'm in the same boat - bought Season One blind and watched it in its entirety over about 3 days.
Say, can I crash on someone's couch until my wife starts speaking to me again?

I saw the show when it was on TV. Then I bought the Alias season 1 DVD set. It's great to be able to see how the story evolve and link together with the DVD. A lot of big picture was lost to me when I saw it first time on TV and just noticed it watching on DVD.

Check it out on our station (ABC) from 9:00pm to 10:00pm Sunday nights. Not this Sunday night though, as it is some other programming until next week when season 3 starts.
Don't forget to stick around for the local break, beginning at 9:57:56pm.

also buying season 1 helped me understand all the stuff that happened after reboot (like everyone else who started watching right then, I was in it for the eye candy.)
