DVD Talk Gold Edition
Superman has always been my favorite superhero so I watched it from the first episode, even though I had some reservations at first (the publicity about it being like "Dawson's Creek" was the reason why). I was pleasantly surprised at the respectable treatment the producers gave the characters. There were so many nice touches and homages to the comic book and first Superman film that it works like a prequel in some ways. We see more of Clark's growing pains as he comes to grip with his abilities.
The interplay with Lex and Clark is fantastic. But I also like Clark's relationship with Lana. Not the times where he saves her life one week, and the next she is complaining about being ditched/ignored for the umpteenth time. Rather the moments where they are close, but yet so far. Lana reminds me of the one that got away from my high school years, although not to the same degree.

this show is great!!! Season I was good, and had a great cliff hanger on the season finale. Season II was WAY better than season I, and hopefully season III will top II.
