TCM is an excellent channel, showing all movies uncut, commercial-free, and in original format. Not to mention the quality of the movies.

Honk!

I have to agree TCM is an excellent channel too bad AMC went the opposite direction and started showing commercials it a good thing my cable operator dropped them and picked up FX movies from Fox instead.

I used to be a big AMC fan. but lierally haven't watched anything on that channel since the change. Thank heavens that TCM has retained its integrity, and continues to treat its movies with respect and its audience as adults.

Is AMC any different than TNT, TBS, etc. anymore? They play a lot of questionable "classics", and the aforementioned commericals and edits... I suppose I don't have a problem with their shift to newer films (as TCM is doing such a great job of covering the golden age stuff), but they could at least give them more respect.

I just wish TCM wouldn't have started "bugging" there films. On widescreen films it's not that much of a problem, but on 1.33:1 films it's annoying.

I went to visit my parents this weekend and we watched it.....good film.

Too bad the crappy cable I have doesn't include TMC....it should since I shell out $44.00 per month.

On A&E on Thursday, during the documentary "7 Days in September", they seemed to cut out some F words but left some in.
