CBS's Big Brother Will Be Around Three More Years--Will Also Hit DVD.

This wa stated in a small article in EW. I got the magazine today. It says it was picked up for another three years due to great ratings, and that BB3 will be released onto dvd THIS November (Nov 4th).

Thoughts?

Who would want to see this on DVD? Unless they showed some nudity, there is no reason to have it...

That's great news. I love BB, and will gladly watch for the next 3 summers.

As for the DVD.... that's one I won't be adding to my collection. I can't imagine any way they do it (every episode, greatest moments, 2 hour summary, etc) that would interest me enough to purchase it.

I think the dvd is good news. I mean, if a show is good, a show is good. And it should be savored on dvd.

I'm surprised no reality shows have hit dvd besides like Real World. Granted, we all know the winners and losers of the BB shows or Survivor, but I still think it would be entertaining again to watch your favorite houseguests or contestants or whatever scheming to stay in the game and all.

I mean, I see how this might not have replay value, and then I also see how it definitely could.

I can also see some decent extras, like how they cast the show, edit it, come up with twists, etc.

Big Brother is my favorite "reality" show, but unless there was tons of nudity there is no way I would buy a dvd of it.

The dvd for BB3 has been on the CBS website for a while now. Although I love BB I can't imagine sitting through it again from the beginning. It doesn't have much replay value.

I went to a site that said not only will the show not be released in stores, but they are charging $70.00. That's just ridiculous.

It's on the CBS website now for $70, but will be in stores this November, surely for less after regular discounts.

I wouldn't mind having them but not for $70. I'll probably pick them up on eBay after they're put up. I really want the (2nd?) season with Will. I can't even remember who was on the first season so I wouldn't mind watching that one again.

And great news about it being picked up again!!!

I'll be surprised if CBS doesn't.
