Episode 4 - The Debut

(from TVGuide Online)

"The Cohens agree to be Ryan's guardians as long as he stays out of trouble, which could be a problem since Marissa's deb ball is looming and Luke is no longer the only escort option in town. Meanwhile, Jimmy's crimes begin to catch up with him, leading to a public---and very violent---revelation."

I'm really starting to enjoy this show. Don't hold it against me!

Spoiler:
I thought tonight's episode was pretty good. I really hope Seth is getting over Summer, the new chick, Anna, seems really cool. Plus I've got a "thing" for chicks with that look, and I found her to be very cute. Too bad she's going sailing for the rest of the summer though, maybe she's not going to be a regular? I hope that's not the case though, seeing one of the few truly nice people on the show pining away for a total bitch is starting to bug me a bit.

I hope the new girl comes back from her sailing trip - by the way, she was a most-welcome addition to the show.

Adam Brody (Seth) was in top form, as usual.

Great music again tonight.

Fourth ep - fourth straight ep w/ a fight.

This show is great - cheesy, yes, but a little cheese never hurt anyone.

Ok, all I have to say is that Summer is such a ho. A straight up hoochie. For reals.

Another good episode. I thought Tate Donovan's character was going to commit suicide after the Debutante Ball until he got into the fight.

Marissa is slowly growing on me. I haven't really cared for her too much up until this point.

Seth is still the best part of the show. Frickin' hilarious.

Peter Gallagher did an excellent job again as well.

All I can say is that this show amuses me. It's one of the few shows that make me laugh and chuckle due to the character interactions and reactions.

I like it as well. I thought that last night's episode was probably the best one so far. I want to see how the whole Jimmy thing plays out. I can see his wife leaving him in the future, so with them also being broke, Marissa will be in the same situation that Ryan was...

Maybe the Cohens will take a couple of them in, too...

I was thinking Jimmy's wife (Melinda Clarke) will leave him, too (maybe she will take the younger daughter), but mostly because they don't show her anywhere in the introductory credits.

Yeah - I noticed that too. Unfortunate. Of course, maybe this means she can reprise her Lady Heather role on CSI now.

Another very entertaining episode. Hot chicks galore! Who was the one throwing that cookout party?

Great episode last night. Adam Brody kills me with all his one-liners - more often than not, he makes the show what it is.

I notice that Jane Espenson (formerly of Buffy) is one of the lead writers here. I think she must have agreed to take the show strictly for the opportunity to write for the Seth character.

I enjoyed it, although I am kinda tired of the "love triangle" aspect. It seems like the Marissa would either stop talking to Ryan, or he would get fed up with her boyfriend. I did like the new girl, and I was glad that the produces didn't put the two "bad" kids together.

I will admit that there is finally a show my wife watches that I don't mind watching.

The show has a death time slot though...Thursday nights against Will & Grace/Coupling and CSI. I am willing to bet that Fox will move this show pretty quickly to a better time slot.

Jane Espenson was just working in between shows, as she'll be writing more for "Gilmore Girls" than "The O.C."

True but keep in mind, 90210 started out on Thursday at 9 against a monster in Cheers. It was able to survive until they moved it to Wednesdays at 8 a couple years later.
