What a shock: Fox cancels Keen Eddie

Futon Critic Article

FOX has pulled the plug on its struggling summer drama "Keen Eddie." The news comes just one week before the show's previously announced return on August 28.

In its place FOX plans to fill the Thursday, 8:00/7:00c hour with a mix of new and repeat episodes of "Anything for Love" and "Stupid Behavior Caught on Tape." The move won't affect the Thursday launch of "Temptation Island 3" at 9:00/8:00c on August 28.
Now, there's the Fox I know and harbor bitter resentment towards. Not surprising, just disappointing.

Hmmm. I just read that Fox decided to put it on hiatus until the fall.

Not a surprise. Too bad, since it never got a proper series finale or anything.

RIP.

Thank God. That show was too entertaining. Watching it would make me happy, which would only remind me that I'm not always happy, which would piss me off. I'd rather just have crap all the time to keep it consistent. Keep up the good work, FOX!!!

Replace original, entertaining show with "Stupid Behavior Caught on Tape"????? I was hoping for re-runs of "When Buildings Collapse"!

What a shame

This was my favorite new series. It's too bad we'll never learn if Eddie ever catches up w/ the woman who screwed him over back in the States. I had already pretty much accepted the fact that there wasn't going to be a second season due to the low ratings, but I thought we would at least see all the episodes that were produced for the 1st season. Here's to hoping that they're released on DVD eventually Until 24 returns, there's no reason for me to watch anything on Fox for now.

Well they were just thinking of it's viewers. They would rather this show burn up, then fade away. Fox knows that it's TI3 audiance does not know what good or bad is, so they can keep rehashing a horrible idea and the drones will keep flocking back.
See? So it is all out of respect.

Those no-good, stupid ************s!!! I know, I know - it was bound to happen, but still. That was a great show. Every episode kicked ass, the cast was top-notch and the writing was good, too.

I just wish they would have given this show a chance. They are promoting the **** out of The O.C., which is good, but why couldn't they have done a better job of handling this show!?!

Fox, you suck ass!!! Stupid Morans!!!

Bloody wenches. I actually found that show entertaining. One of the very few things I ever watched on network television.

I AGREE!
they kept moving it and I probably missed the last 2 episodes. It was semi-original.
great scenes shot in London and Daniel Ash of Love and Rockets did the score.

The first episode of "Stupid Behavior Caught on Tape" will consist of Fox Execs sitting in a meeting and agreeing to pull the plug on this show.

The best part was when the buildings fell down.

Ok, but now back to my original emotion, which was . Just when I think Fox has some balls by at least showing us the remaining episodes, they go and pull this ******. Un-frickin-believeable. What a bunch of pansies. And what do we get in its place. More "reality" TV--despite the fact that those programs could not be further from reality.

And people wonder why I have given up on network television...

NOoooooooooooooooo!!! I can't say how much this sucks. I at least had hope when I heard they were putting the remaining episodes on starting next week. But now, no! We don't even get to see those.

I really hope the procducers and creators shop this to another network - maybe USA?

This is one show that I really like and would loved to have watch. Afterall, "lately" I've lost Felicity, Roswell, and Firefly.

Why another one?!

See how much I liked it:
