Well, there are certainly other people here who can help you out with tapes if need be. :D

If I knew a release date for season 4, I wouldn't care so much about waiting. Any word? Anyone?
|
This is a bit confusing, for me at least. On one hand you’ve got the above, which is clearly the intent of the author. On the other, and this is where I tend to drift, there is the psychic “We are all Kosh” thingie that has always suggested a telepathic connection. (Both ideas are supported in future episodes. Hhh) I’ve always thought, perhaps incorrectly, that when Kosh tells Sheridan to jump, it is a telepathic link rather than an actual metaphysical “bond. Did Sheridan die, as Kosh said he would? Kosh also said that he wouldn't be there to help him, but he was - sort of. Does that mean that Sheridan really isn't dead? What the hell is in that big pit? Is it a Shadow creation, or did the Shadows find it when they got there? Is the city surrounding the pit a Shadow city? How much damage did the explosion do to the Shadows? If I knew a release date for season 4, I wouldn't care so much about waiting. Any word? Anyone? Not only that, but once you watch the first ep, then you're going to want to watch the second, and then the third, etc. |

How much damage did the explosion do to the Shadows? How much damage did the explosion do? It hurt the Shadows enough for them to temporarily regroup, lick their wounds, and try come up with some new strategies. And, like any other species who has suffered a catastrophic loss to their property, they might ask their friends for a little assistance. And you forgot to ask about Mr. Garibaldi. But don't worry too much, he's in good -er- hands. |
Yeah, I was wondering about Garibaldi but figured that any questions would be met with the "heh heh heh" response. I'm sure the question of Whatever Happened to Mr. Garibaldi will be answered in the next season. Say, by episode 2. ;)

No, he's been Lurking in places that he knows he should stay away from.

;)

He's probably under the mistaken impression that it's the middle of winter. das |
BTW, I just happen to have the vhs boxed set of the first six Season 4 episodes.
In case someone is interested. |
Damn you in-the-know people with your cryptic teasing posts!
Wiz - I'll wait for the DVDs. For a while. If we don't get an announcement soon, however... Hey, you don't think they'll decide not to release seasons 4 and 5, do you? :( |
I'm beyond hope. I just popped in 'Messages from Earth', and you know where that's going to lead. I feel like Franklin with stims: I need my fix. These DVDs are dangerous.

I’m holding my breath, considering how royally we got screwed over with the vhs release.
Once S4 & S5 are in my hot little hands, I will be pleased to tell Warner where they can stick their snappers and custom cases. |
This is a dangerous thought and a bold statement to be sure, but after considerable reflection, I find myself wondering whether or not the 3rd season of Babylon 5 isn't the finest complete season in the history of American television.

You know, I would have been inclined to agree...
But I saw A Late Delivery From Avalon for the first time the other night... ugh. And I've actually never seen Grey 17, either. That one should be getting watched sometime this weekend, though. |
das, I agree. But it's almost tough to separate season three from the rest of the arc. I mean, everything really from Coming of Shadows through The Deconstruction of Falling Stars is really just one story. :)
|
Even if you don't like 'Late Delivery', find me another season with 20 or 21 out of 22 kickass hours. The filler nature of the 20+ episode season allows most seasons to achieve greatness with only 5 or 6 superb episodes. Season 3 has at least 15.
As for 'Grey 17', it has the worst B story ever, but the A story is so good that I've never minded that much. Neroon is such a cool character, and this is a big episode for him. Even the final scene with Garibaldi recounting his tale makes me laugh. das |

There is a delay because Seeker inconvenienty and inconsideratly fractured his heel into about 12 pieces, and claims that he can't get to it yet*, which really pisses me off. Since when does personal health and medical care come before B5? Huh? SINCE WHEN?!?! Bastard. *Actually, Seeker offered to make and send the tape anyway, but I told him to hold off and take care of his foot. Once the DVDs come out, I won't care about them anymore. |
Seeker, you know I was kidding. Don't worry about it, and don't risk your original tapes. I'll wait for the DVDs.
|
Sure about that? ;)
All of life can be broken down into moments of transition and moments of revelation. This had the feeling of both. G'Quan wrote: "There is a darkness greater than the one we fight. It is the darkness of the soul that has lost its way. The war we fight is not against powers and principalities: it is against chaos and despair. Greater than the death of flesh is the death of hope, the death of dreams. Against this peril we can never surrender." The future is all around us, waiting in moments of transition to be born in moments of revelation. No one knows the shape of that future, or where it will take us. We know only that it is always born ... in pain. |
Stop it! stop it stop it stop it stop it stop it stop it stop it stop it stop it stop it! You evil person.
|
It was the year of fire... the year of destruction... the year we took back what was ours. It was the year of rebirth... the year of great sadness... the year of pain... and the year of joy. It was a new age. It was the end of history. It was the year everything changed. The year is 2261. The place: Babylon 5. |
AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGHHHHHHH!
I'm writing to Warners to ask when season 4 is being released. |
One second I want to go ahead and tell you that Sheridan died, the next second, I don't.
