TV shows you discovered in syndication...

Two years ago it was King of the Hill. This past month it was Seinfeld(don't lecture me please!! '70's show is another one. When i was a kid Night Court was my fav discovered show after 3 years on TV. Wish i could still watch it every nite. I'm sure there's more....

The earliest syndicated discovery for me was the original Star Trek. It started at the top of the hour right after getting home from grade school. Die-hard Trekkie ever since.

Newsradio. FOX started airing it nightly and I didn't stop watching.

King of the Hill, I watched the first few seasons, then stopped, and now FOX airs it like, 4 times a day and I usually watch all of them.

I won't count shows that aired before my time. When Cheers went into syndication in the late 80's, that was the first one. Buffy a few years back, and now Family Guy.

Baywatch - I never watched it before syndication, but for a while I watched it every single night.

Although I watched this show back in the day too, my roommates and I love watching American Gladiators everyday over our lunch break. They should have kept it on the air, but I'll stick with the syndicated episodes on TNN for now.

Homicide: Life on the Street - Even though I thought it was a good show I never watched it in it's original run.

For me its the Larry Sanders Show. I know it's probably not as good as it was on HBO but they can still get away with some swear words on Bravo.

Frasier and Working are two that come to my mind. Working is especially a favorite of mine, just as needing a DVD release as Newsradio or any other show fans have campaigned for.

Though not technically syndication, I discovered what I'd consider to be my favorite TV series of all time -- Freaks and Geeks -- second-run on cable.

not discovered, but got back into and caught up on
Stargate SG1
I watched the first 1 or 2 seasons as it was on after SNL on the local nbc station, then I moved to Buffalo and it was on at some time when I wasn't watching tv and would forget to tape it, like sat afternoon or something so I stopped watching it
but scifi has let me get fairly well caught up

not syndication but I discovered 24 on dvd. Picked it up for $25 and watched the entire season in a week(about a month ago). I am currently watching it again with my wife before season 2 arrives on dvd, and hopefully that will catch me up before season 3 starts this fall so I can watch it weekly.

I never watched The Drew Carey Show until it came on my local Fox affiliate, and I grew to love it. Then they stopped showing it.
