Oh lord, the Simpsons Space Shuttle episode is on

This has got to be one of my favorite episodes.

Homer's line about "Wow. Former President James Taylor is going to sing for us" is classic.

They had my favorite ep on yesterday: the one where Homer gets his wire jawed shut. The best line was when Homer runs into the glove of the Drederick Tatum statue, and gets knocked out. That's when the real Drederick Tatum goes: 'Excellent bout'... Everytime I see that I'm literally in tears.

wow other networks are catching on to playing the older episodes, I just thought it was my local station. The episode I haven't seen in a few months is the Sherry Bobbins episode "Reservoir cats" had me dying in laughter.

Our Fox station put The Simpsons on hiatus for this summer. We used to get The Simpsons from 5-6. Then we only had it at 5. Now we have Home Improvement...which is played on two other stations.

I was super pissed. Now I only see it on Sunday nights and whenever Fox puts it on in the evenings during the week.

Fox in Champaign, IL sucks beyond belief. They never play any Simpsons older than about 1999.

The DC affliliate was like that too. For about a year and a half leading up to July 2003, all they played were episodes from the last 4 years. I wrote them a complaint and they actually responded saying they only had the rights to those episodes, but that they were getting the rights to all the episodes starting July 2003. Sure enough, on July 1, classic Simpsons was back. Last night we had the Michael Jackson episode and the Jebediah Springfield-traitorous pirate episode.

Moe: Good God! Homer, I support, you know, any prejudice you can name, but this hero-phobia sickens me. All right, you and your daughter ain't welcome here no more. Barney, show them the exit.
Barney: There's an exit?!
Moe: Hello, town jubilation committee? I got something that's going to make you a lot less jubilant.

Watching newer Simpsons episodes is like watching Classic Krusty.
