"MANDI/RANDI"

Spoiler:
As Christian is haunted by images of Julia and his ability to perform sexually, his duties as a doctor are put to the test when identical twins come to him for surgery to look different from one another. After Sean encounters a sexy female psychologist, Grace, he decides to move out and experience life as a single man while his marriage with Julia continues to worsen. Matt's insecurities about his penis grow when his girlfriend finally sees it.

Looking forward to it.

It was a very good episode. I hated the cliffhanger, but I can wait a week to find out what happened. I was surprised that the twin storyline was not a big of a storyline as advertised, but more of a subplot. Huh.

The son still seems miscast to me. The actor portraying him seems too old, not sympathetic enough for me to care about him. It's just not that believable, which bothers me.

Another fustration was that the preview for the next episode was pretty much the same one they ran earlier. Argh, I demand accurate previews!

Another good episode.

Anybody else think that Matt could be Christian's son? In the first episode, he alluded to it by asking Julia something along the lines of, "When can I see my children?" And then this week, after the female psychologist saw Matt's picture and asked Sean if his son was the mailman's, Sean had to explain that Julia is black-Irish on her father's side. Moreover, if you look at Matt, he looks kind of like Christian...at least a lot more than Sean does.

When Matt did a search on "circumcision, how to" I kind of chuckled and rolled my eyes. And then when he started reading from one of the websites and the voice started narrating, I started chuckling because I was sure that the website had to be some kind of hoax perpetrated by some prankster who would break out laughing if he learned anybody followed his techniques ("cuts will be painless"...yeah right). And then when Matt lifted up his bloody hand I said, "Oh dude. Damn." out loud. Then I kind of started laughing.

I was kind of sad to see the fat, male psychologist canned. He was kind of funny.

Christian gets more tail than Wilt ChamberlainKobe Bryant!

Not to mention that he looks eerily like Michael Jackson. His features are very similar.

I was thinking he looked a bit like Michael Jackson too. Kinda creepy and a bit distracting. Really enjoying the show though. Very funny and great performances by the two lead docs. The actor who plays Christian is really excellent. That guy should be a movie star. For some reason, he kind of reminded me of the actor in the series John Doe.

It really is amazing to see this on non-premium cable. I'm glad to see shows like this pushing the envelope, if only to wake up the major networks from their lazy programming decisions.

Is it just me or does the show looks like it's being played from a dvd that keeps freezing up?

No problems on cable here. You watching on satellite, maybe?

caught this on my ReplayTV today. I liked it. Is this shot in widescreen as it's OAR or is my tv acting up?

The only problem I really have with this show so far is that some of the acting isn't very good. The wife seems really forced to me, and some of the scenes between her and the husband just really seem stilted. Anybody else feel this way?

The only thing that's stilted are my pants whenever Christian is getting it on with some ho.

Just kidding. Actually, I think the acting is pretty good. If anything, I think Sean isn't doing so much of a bang up job, but still good.

A very differnet show. Another winner from FX.

I can't stand the son but it seems they softened his looks a bit since the first episode/piolt. I'd guess his eyebrows didn't test too well.

I hope they don't paly the best friends girl angle too long as that gets old quick. Christian is too much a dog for her to even consider being with, at least he's honest.

I get the idea that the son is really Christian's.

Great episode. This show has a lot of potential. Does anyone else get annoyed by how the wife is always so shaky? I've only tried watching two shows this summer. Keen Eddie and this. These are the only shows I make time to watch. Fx is the poor man's HBO. They should have more shows than one main show every season.

Spoiler:
He made a cut and passed out. His father agreed to bring him into the clinic and finish the job right in order to correct the damage that the kid had done.

I'm guessing we didn't see any extreme closeups since this isn't hc porn or anything right? (I've been on the couch all week, and my parents were both sort of watching as well, and the thought was a bit gross, so we turned the tv off)

No no no, it's entirely the reaction on his face.
