x-files/lone gunmen question
Now that I have X-files season 1, a question, probably beamed to my brain from some hidden government installation, is making me a little crazy.
The Lone gunmen. When did they first appear on X-Files?
Thanks.

I don't know when they first appeared, but I do remember an episode many years later that did a flashback when Mulder first met the Lone Gunmen before they became the Lone Gunmen. I vividly remember the brick size cell phone Mulder used in that episode.

Hey, I have another X-files question:
I only saw the first half of the X-files series finale. I always thought I'd catch the second half, but I never did.
How did the series end?

The flashback ep of the Lone Gunman formation was The Unusual Suspects in S5 complete with Homicide's/L&O: SVU's Detective Munch.

A "fawn" farewell? Jackskelton, is that what Bambi did when her mother died? I'm not fond of that idiom myself.

Spoiler:
The Gunmen do make an appearance in the last episode and I wouldn't be surprised if they show up in the eventual movie as well. It's sci-fi...anything can happen.

The Lone Gunmen thing never bothered me much.........but I find killing off Alex Krycek to be ABSOLUTELY UNFORGIVEABLE!!!!
and then to have him reappear as a ghost or whatever in that travesty of a series finale was just un-f*ing-believably bad.
Krycek is my favorite secondary character, and it sucked enough he wasn't in the X-files film (Carter didn't want to complicate the plot anymore with extra characters and confuse new viewers).....but I always hoped he would be in any subsequent films. Now that can't happen without some really cheesy storytelling.
