"What's new Moneypenny?"

"Crotchless Panties."

Holy crap. One of the funniest lines I heard in awhile. I should enjoy it while it lasts. The show isn't going to make it. Anyone know if this is the last episode (sob)?

I actually think Fox is going to air all 13 eps now and might even pick it up for the upcoming season - which it should if it was smart, which it shows it's not by moving it to its present time-slot.

Tonight's episode (the seventh) was excellent. The brunette criminal was gorgeous - seriously, she had amazing eyes.

And the tension between Eddie and Fiona mounts. I also liked the grilling that Fiona's dad gave Nigel and all he could do was reply in gibberish.

Yeah, the crotchless panties line by Miss Moneypenny was classic.

I totally forgot about this tonight, and I am so pissed off at myself. I watched Amazing Race, but would have taped this. Argh! I guess I will have to wait until it is rerun, or find someone local that taped it...

I love this show! Last night was another good character driven episode, and in between, there was a jewelry heist, false confession, and inadvertent racial tension from the insecurities created by the silence. Eddie needling Fiona is really cute writing. I enjoy their little battles.

Yeah, I really think it is one of the best on tv right now (and that includes shows from last season that are in re-run). I really wish more people were watching it, because it is that good and it deserves a chance at a decent time slot this fall, because going up against Survivor/Friends at 8/7 central isn't going to cut it.

The Eddie, Fiona, and Nigel triangle stuff was great last night. I really enjoyed Fiona coming down to breakfast in her T-shirt and panties. The main story was a little weak, however it was still very entertaining. I noticed last night there were no previews for the next episode. Can anyone confirm when Keen Eddie will be on again?

I assumed it would be on next week, but I just checked TVGuide Online, and it doesn't look like it is scheduled for next Thursday at 8/7 central...I could swear that I read somewhere that Fox would air all 13 eps, at least.

Looks like it's not on for another 3 weeks, because next week Fox is showing 'Bug Attack!' and the week after it's 'Beverly Hills, 90210: 10-Year High School Reunion (Repeat)'. Gotta love those clowns at Fox!!

According to this Futoncritic article , Keen Eddie comes back on August 28 (which I think puts it after the TAR finale, right? So a little less competition, at least). Between now and then, it's sports and specials on Thursdays. After returning from hiatus, KE will air four new episodes. After those four episodes, Fox's fall programming will kick in, and KE will apparently give up the slot to Tru Calling.

I hope Fox follows through and brings KE back, but knocking it off schedule entirely wouldn't surprise me. The ratings for last night don't look very good. I can't find the overnights, but the Fast National ratings have it at 2.5/5, lowest of the Big Four for that timeslot, and apparently lower than the shows previously occupying the Thursday 8-9 PM slot.

They were clearing the spot out for The O.C., which is going to start before the regular season (August 5). Originally, Keen Eddie was just going to vanish after next Tuesday. Then, they moved it, probably to see if it would do better in a different spot. So far, not so good.

They should have put it on Monday after Boston Public.

Yep, people definitely don't watch Monday Night Football like they used. I have been watching Third Watch then for a few years now. Monday's would work for me, I would just record one or the other.

Fox moved it without much press. I had no clue that it had moved to Thursday until I read the USA Today and saw the little blurb on it saying it had moved. Thanks Fox for keeping us fans informed!

I saw as many "Keen Eddie is moving to Thursday" ads as I saw promoting the show in the first place, so it's hard to blame them too much. Of course, we can certainly blame them for putting it against the only hour of summer network television of any note, The Amazing Race.

Thanks for the information. I hope I can remember to set my tape for August 28th. Too bad the ratings didn't improve.

So it's definitely not coming back once the Fall season starts? Why doesn't Fox cut out one of the 8 weekly episodes of American Crappy Idol and put this show on instead?

Because like every other network all Fox cares about are ratings. It used to be good shows were allowed time to build an audience, now a show gets 2-4 weeks to succeed then the axe falls. If Keen Eddie had premiered any other time than Summer it would have been gone long ago with its performance. Though it might have done a lot better if its target audience was watching television instead of doing what 18-45 year-olds normally do during the Summer. Face it a lot of this age group does not watch television during the Summer like they do during the Fall and Winter.

I just got a chance to watch this episode, and I really enjoyed it. A bit twisty, but a good episode none the less. Hope to see it picked up in the future...
