Are the nominations as tp be expected??..Any surprises??

Patman 08-01-03 09:02 AM

Well, yes,

Spoiler:
Seeing as Justin and Dana are now some strange "couple," Allison could have learned from Dana's mistake last week and put up Dana and Justin as nominees. Dana regretted not putting up Allison and Nate, instead she preferred to target Allison for eviction, but then Nate won POV and throw a huge monkey wrench into Dana's plans. Never only target one person for eviction, put up 2 players (one strong, one despicable) and hope for the best, even with POV, and have a 3rd choice in case POV is used.

Hahaha check this picture out

Neither link is a valid site.

TruGator 08-01-03 10:59 AM

For some reason you have to copy/paste the links to work. When you paste it into your browser you have to get rid of the space between ""bbc" and "hatter".

That worked for me.

This was truly a LOL moment:

In a room with Justin, Jun, Dana:

They talk about how hot Lisa (last season's winner) was and Dana says her friends think she looks like Lisa.

The whole room is silent for a few seconds and Jn says "NO".
OMG! Dana is one delusional man troll...

Patman 08-01-03 12:34 PM

Okay, another update from the past couple of days:

Spoiler:

Before nominations, Jun really tried to impress upon Allison that Jack and Erika were working both sides, probably too emphatically. Jun promised not to nominate Allison if Allison didn't nominate her this week, but Jun would not give the same protection to Nate. Allison said that Jun was playing smartly, that she was the brains over there, but Jun tried to deflect that appellation with that she's the calming influence, but not the brains (trying to suggest that Justin was calling the shots). Jun even "spilled the beans" about Jack and Erika making deals with the Ex-Men/Dana/Jun alliance to Allison (again, trying to curry favor with Allison). Of course, Allison knows about this because Jack and Erika already cleared it with her and Nate (this is really fun game play by Jack and Erika). Allison expressed faux surprise by Jun's revelation. Heh.

Erika also suspects that Jee and Jun are in on a secret secret alliance.

Dana wouldn't talk to Allison about nominations. Dana would rather remain proud than go into the HoH to beg for her BB life.

The 3 stooges (Justin, Robert, and Jee) are still super-tight, and Jun and Dana know it. This affects their POV decision making should the 2 girls get POV.

Nate, Erika and Jack really wanted Justin to be nominated for eviction, and to contend with Dana next week. Allison, obviously, wasn't buying that argument (though it would have been the right move).

So Allison puts up Jun and Dana as nominees for eviction.

Allison seems to think she has this secret alliance with Justin, so that might explain why she didn't put Justin up, but has expressed to her "alliance" that she'll put Justin up if either of the girls are taken off the eviction block by the POV winner.

Nate, Jack, Erika discuss the possibility of forcing Allison to put up Justin by using the POV to take Jun off the eviction block. They really really want Justin gone from the house. They all fear his smarts and athleticism.

Robert and Jee are sliding under the radar, as are Jack and Erika, this week.

So there will be some tension to the POV competition, and whether it will used because it seems Allison's cohorts (Nate, Erika, Jack) are actually willing to use it if they get POV. None of the 3 stooges will use it (even though Justin who said that he'd take Dana off the block should he win POV) because it would dilute the power base of the 3 stooges. Jun would use it to save herself. Dana would also use it to save herself.

Skorp 08-01-03 02:08 PM

Listening to Ali talk with Jack, Erika and Nathan last night showed that she did indeed put a lot of thought into her nominations.

Spoiler:
Her stated intention is to get Dana out of the house, and she felt that nominating Justin would interfere with that goal (as he might go instead). She also wanted to neutralize the Power of Veto as much as possible. So, by nominating Jun with Dana, she figures:
a) Neither Jee nor Robert will use the veto, as she'll tell them that Justin will be put up as a replacement.
b) Justin won't use the veto to take off Dana, as Ali told him she'll then put up Robert, who she believes Justin has stonger ties to. (And she's right, because even though Justin told Dana he'd take her off if he won the veto, he has also told Robert & Jee that he wouldn't use it if it meant that either of them would be put up.) (And this is the main difference between Ali's and Dana's nominations. Nathan was willing to sacrifice another member of his alliance in order to take Ali off the block. Justin appears less likely to do the same.)
c) Jun could win the veto and take herself off (in which case Ali says she'll put up Justin). If, however, Jun feels she's safe enough from eviction to use the veto on Dana instead, Ali will let Jun know beforehand that she'll put up Jee in Dana's place, making the vote closer and Jun's chances slimmer. (Ali also believes there's a secret alliance between Jun and Jee -- and she's right again.)
d) If Dana wins veto and uses it, Justin goes up.
e) Finally, if either Jack, Erika or Nathan win it, she wants them to stay the course. Though they all want Justin up on the block, Ali won't agree to doing that (at least, not at the moment).

(The major flaw to the above is that I think Ali's bluffing with the threats to put Justin up. If her bluff is called, she could find herself stuck with both Dana & Justin still in the house.)

J, E, & N seemed a lot more accepting of the nominations after talking the various scenarios through -- though Nathan had the unbelievably stupid idea of throwing the veto competition (to Jun, if possible), just to see what would happen.

Robert is such a whiny-ass baby. And Jun looks as if she is about to have a baby.

Alison: I think he's gay.

rotfl.

what a two faced bitch.

Skorp 08-01-03 08:34 PM

POV spoiler from the feeds:

Spoiler:
Robert won the Power of Veto.

And it's highly unlikely he'll use it and put Justin or Jee at risk.

dek 08-01-03 08:41 PM

Nice :)

Yeah...Allison calling Nate gay is just the wrong thing to do...way to defend your alliance partner. Can't wait til Nathan sees/hears about that...maybe THEN he'll regret having giving the Golden Snitch...uh...Veto to Allison.

Is this pic a fake, or is it Allison testing the "he's gay theory"?

MJKTool 08-01-03 10:57 PM

Wow Alison is such a bitch! She needs to go down!

She said, "I know he's gay."

The way she said it, so sure of herself, led me to believe that she's, um, tried to do things to him and he's not been...well, receptive.

He could just have good taste, but women sure do seem to be good at figuring things like that out and in that house, if Ali was really all over him, you'd think he'd have gone along with it.

It was a shi*ty thing for her to say, though.

movieking 08-02-03 06:34 AM

If I was her boyfriend, there is absolutely no way I would stay with her after seeing her in the BB house...

Patman 08-02-03 08:57 AM

But, it could be psychological warfare that Allison is using on Justin if she knows that Justin doesn't like gays, and that totally deflects the heat towards Nate, much less so than her. There is evidence that suggests that Allison thinks she is playing the same Jun/Jee strategy with Justin. Painting Nate as gay makes a "Allison/Nate" hook-up less likely, and less threatening in certain ways to Justin (for whatever odd reactions that latent jealousy might produce between ex's.)

Oh yeah, Robert is a putz.

shanester 08-02-03 11:32 AM

Who knew Jack was such a comedian??..Great one-liners

Can somebody recall a few from last night. I'm think when he was in the kitchen with Dana???? :hscratch:

MJKTool 08-02-03 12:26 PM

I love it how they dedicated an entire segment to Junzilla's weight! Did you see the comparission from when she first started until now? Wow!

Dead link. What was the picture?

ProjectMayhem 08-02-03 03:35 PM

No matter what, Dana is gone...

movieking 08-02-03 03:44 PM

I assume that she is gone as well. Good riddance...

ProjectMayhem 08-02-03 04:53 PM

Dana - Votes to keep her in:

Robert
Justin
Jee

Jun - Votes to keep her in:

Jack
Erica
Nathan

If one of the first three (Robert, Jee, Justin) win the vito and take Dana off, they are still screwed. Alison would put up Justion (or one of the other exs). It's definitely a lose-lose situation.

Now I'm hoping the ex's win the next few HOH competitions.

I thought she said :::

"I think he's gay."

and then later to Justin said:

"I know he's gay."
