Is Allison really a smart as she's making it out to be? If I could pick somebody as being the smartest in the house she'd probably be the last person on that list. I do think Justin is alot smarter then he appears to be though.

My vote is for Jack to go as well...the Ex's should feel sorry for Dave since he is the victim of Nate's stupidity and boot Jack since he was one of the original two...

What's with the whole spashing of the hammock thing...cooky..

Allison is "details" smart in that she can remember all the little bits of trivia (like what people were wearing on any day, or any past competition). Don't know if she's "game" smart. But for HoH's, you do need to have good recall when it comes down to trivia.

sorry if this has already been covered but, why didnt Dana put Nathan up on the block when he used the veto on Alison? is HoH permitted to nominate the houseguest that used the veto?

The winner of the POV is not eligible to be put up on the Eviction block by HoH. Also, this season, the POV is Golden, meaning if one of the nominees won POV, they could take themselves off the block.

Upsetting, since those are the only two I like in the original 8 (David and Jack). I think Jack will go though.

I want Robert, Justin and Jee at the end...

I think Dave will be sent home because he seen as a bigger threat, even though he's so entertaining otherwise. Jack has crafted such a non-confrontational persona inside the house that he'll be able to live another week inside because Dave made himself too likable and too much of a HoH/POV threat.

Minor update from Tuesday:

Spoiler:
Nate blabbed to the Ex-Men in the hot tub, trying to employ some reverse psychology on them, daring them to boot out Dave, more or less. It was a strange "sit down". Anyhow, Dave's probably the most likely goner (but you never know if Jack is 100% safe until Julie Chen says he is). Dana and Jun were talking trash about Nate and Allison.

Jack's been trying to offer Nate and Allison for their continued survival in the house (his and Erika's). But Jack is up front with Nate about this strategy, so he's cool with it. Jack's trying to win the trust of the Ex-Men with such a manuever.

I think Nate's convinced that Dave is staying, but he's just deluding himself. There was some question as to whether or not Dave got in one snuggle session with Allison last night. Dave's a lovable tramp.

The Ex-group all know that Allison is book smart, but with no common sense.

Allison has sussed out that that Jee and Jun are in a deeper alliance than anyone else in the house. Allison's pretty intuitive in spots.

Dana's still pissed awf about Nate.

Nathan meant to say that he was the "brawn" in a duo with Allison (the Brains).

Justin - everybody lies in this game, get used to it. "David has looked me in the eye and lied. I don't think I can trust him."

Spoiler:
Holy ****!!! Dave got voted out and Jack is staying, then Alison won HoH! Dana has to be sweating her balls off! HaHa...I'm pissed Dave is gone - he was the best player in the house...

The best player in the house is the one that gets most of the jury's vote at the end.

The HoH competition:

Spoiler:

The HoH competition involved dropping ping pong balls into a 2"-3" wide clear plastic pipe 5 feet below their feet. The houseguest were able to practice for this event earlier, and both Allison and Nate worked really hard at it.

Just my guess as to the nominees for eviction:

Spoiler:
I think it's a sure bet that Allison will put up Dana (yes!) and Justin for the sheer spitefulness of it all. I'm gonna love watch Dana implode all week long hoping to win POV because I don't think anyone else will volunteer to fall on the sword for her and take her off the eviction block.

For a second, I thought Jack was going to pull off HoH, but I think he eased off once he heard that Allison had 7 balls in the pipe as he built up a good lead over everyone else.

Dave will be missed because he was very entertaining and says what people are thinking.

I wonder how "pissed awf!" Dana will be for the next 3-4 days before POV?

Yes, it was MUCH MUCH smarter for:

Spoiler:
Jack to ease up, as long as Alison had the HOH and not an EX, he was/is more than likely safe. And him winning it would have just put a target on him, since he was kind of making "small deals". Don't know if he "tried" to lose at the end or not, but it did work out for the best.

And I'm glad Allison won, just to throw Dana for a tantrum/loop.
And the back and forth with the "power" keeps it entertaining.

What an awesome turn of events.

Spoiler:
I think it's amazing that things played out exactly how Nate and Allison said they would. Nate said he would win POV, and he did. Allison said she'd win HOH, and she did. I can't wait to see Dana sweating balls.

I'm sorry to see Dave go, but I'm glad Jack stayed. I think he's the smartest player among them, and I'd love to see him take it all.

Damn! Dave was my favorite player in the house, but I'm glad to see Allison get the HoH so she can now say to Dana what Dana said to her during the key ceremony. Stupid man troll

I would love to see Dana go. It will be so funny to watch her taste her own medicine this week.

Agreed.

Spoiler:
Even though I hate Allison, I'm glad she won HoH. It's completely thrown the house for a loop!

I just tuned in to the live feed to see if any one was kissing Allison's ass yet, and it only looks like Nathan and Jun have been. Allison seems upset that they aren't coming to the HoH room to talk to her, saying "Well, it only gives me another reason to put them up."

The more I've been watching the live feeds, the more I think that Jun is playing the game extremely smart. You don't hear many of the houseguests talking ****** about her. She's *always* around, listening to all the crucial conversations. Her alliance with Jee is definetly a good idea. She's majorly egotistical and can be abnoxious at times, but lately she's becoming my favorite player.... along with Jack.

So far, I'm diggin' this season a lot more than last.

I wish they'd have a former houseguest host the show instead of Julie Chen. Someone whose been there and knows the game. My choice would be Will from BB2. Think about it. He'd be perfect.

I think it`s all lover for Dana she will be put up against Justin this week imo..She'll really be "pissed awf" now

I don`t want Nate or Ali to win either they get on my nerves although I have to admit using POV to save Ali turned out to be a brilliant move..for now anyway

Great episode Weds. night. Glad Alison won although I don't really like her.

For those who don't want to see it, don't click these links. Here's a couple shots of Jun "then and now"... I'm not sure if these were doctored or anything, but I believe they are real.

Is anyone else upset at the actual competition that decided HoH this week? This was a very crucial competition, and they decide it by dropping ping pong balls in a tube from 5 feet above? Why didn't they just draw straws?

I think it's safe to assume Dana and Justin will be on the block. Which is fine by me.. I am pulling for the ex's but won't be upset that Dana is gone. I do think it would completely throw everyone off if Dana were to win the POV competition. Then it would probably be Justin vs Robert on the block. And then all bets are off as to who would have the advantage.

Ali absolutely, positively must nominate Dana and Justin.

Dana's nomination should be a no-brainer. And if Ali doesn't nominate Justin, he could win POV and pull a Nathan and take Mantroll off the block.

Spoiler:
Justin told Dana last night that, even if he's up and wins POV, he would use it to take her off. (Which would only prove that he's the biggest idiot in the house.) But, he also made a deal with Robert & Jee to only use the veto to take one of them off -- and they say likewise -- and that if Dana is voted out, that's fine. (The double-dealing in this house is amazing!)

Ali was playing to Jun like she doesn't know who she'll put up -- that only Nathan is safe -- and Jun was working her hard to not trust Jack or Erika, claiming that they made deals with the Ex's behind Ali's back. (But what Jun doesn't know is that Ali knows all about that and that it was part of their gameplan.) Ali told Jun that everyone should come and talk to her, except for Dana, as she has nothing to say to her "but that doesn't mean I'm putting her up".

Nathan confuses the issue by wanting Ali to go after Dana & Jun, and Jack & Erika talk about trying to keep Ali focussed.

As for Dana, she is really "pissed awf" and can't say enough nasty things about Nate & Ali.

Line of the night goes to Jack: "Dana has about as much sex appeal as a buzzard's crotch."
