Na. I can't stand Jee (though I wouldn't make a racist comment about him like Erika). And I don't know enough about Robert to like or dislike him yet.

Patman 07-24-03 04:01 PM

I said "underdog", not likable underdog. :) Robert's a tool.

I don't have the live feed. What's "pissed awf" Dana up to today??

ChefWinduAZ 07-24-03 05:27 PM

I know that they don't air until tomorrow, but aren't the nominations supposed to happen today?

Skorp 07-24-03 07:59 PM

Dana's nominations are in:

Spoiler:
Allison and Jack

The ***** is really gonna hit the fan!

Patman 07-24-03 08:02 PM

Geez, that's a strange set of nominations. Oh well.

It appears that:

Spoiler:
Justin was able to convince Dana that the others from the original alliance wanted Jee to put up Dana if Dave took Erika/Michelle off the chopping block this past week. So now it looks like they are targetting Jack for eviction, probably with the threat of putting Dave up should one of the original alliance members win POV. Strange, very strange.

Skorp 07-24-03 08:32 PM

I agree. A strange set of nominations. Both "gutsy" & "safe", and not really pleasing to the Ex's either.

Spoiler:
"Gutsy" because she went after the original alliance.
"Safe" because she targeted Ali and Jack, instead of Nate and/or Dave.
"Not pleasing" because Robert (& his puppet Jee) would've preferred Erika.

Latest from the feeds:
Spoiler:
Dana had told Ali to her face that she was safe. Now, Ali feels that Dana really wants her out. (All the better to have Justin to herself.) Nate told Ali that, even if he won veto, he wouldn't use it to save her -- and he doesn't want her to try for it herself. He feels she's safe being up against Jack -- and is afraid that Dana will choose him as a replacement. But, as Ali said, that's what they told Michelle...

Jack & Erika also think that Dana is after Ali, that she really wants to break up the Nate & Ali alliance, and that Nate will be the replacement if Ali is taken off the block.

Juon 07-25-03 04:02 PM

And the Veto winner is :

Spoiler:
Nathan

dek 07-25-03 06:47 PM

rotfl I can't wait for tonights episode :)

TruGator 07-25-03 07:13 PM

Spoiler:
I must say it brought me great pleasure to watch Justin argue against Allison. I pretty much agreed with everything he said. After watching that I am now on the side of Jee, Robert, Justin, and Dana. Although I wouldn't mind it if either Jack or Dave from the other side won. But I definitely dislike Nathan and Allison the most.

spoon81 07-25-03 08:14 PM

My ramblings:

Richard and Jee are ugly-ass idiots. I can't stand to watch Jee's mouth and Richards rat face any more.

Jun is delusional. Smart, but delusional.

I like Erika, even with her pink 80's outfits.

I like Jack- intelligent and well spoken.

Dana doesn't know what she's doing. Her nominations proved that. And her bug eyes are very annoying.

I do like Justin. Something about him. He might take this game.

And, Patman, thank you, as I've done for the past three years. I appreciate your posts and insights in this game.

dolphinboy 07-25-03 09:25 PM

Jun need not worry about starving. She has plenty of reserves.

Was there any doubt that they WERE gonna win the BK?

All of that product placement being scarfed down led right into a BK commercial.

Big Bad Ramy 07-25-03 09:56 PM

OH MAN. that was so awesome. glad that **** happened, makes this WAY more interesting.

MJKTool 07-25-03 11:03 PM

This season keeps getting better and better!

Queen Jun?

B.A. 07-25-03 11:39 PM

I am rooting for either Dave, Jack or Justin to win this game. Nathan doesn't bother me either really.

Jun and Allison think a little too highly of themselves. Jun you are smart, but you are such an arrogant know-it-all bitch.

Dana - I wish you would cover the bottom half of your face w/ a handkerchief, and soon.

Dave cracked me up when he was talking about the "crazy, psycho bitch" winning HoH. He's funny as hell.

Dana is turning up the heat, but she could have turned it up few more notches, imo.

ChefWinduAZ 07-26-03 12:01 AM

FIrst off let me say that there were times during this show that I was mistaking Jun for Jee. THere was even one point where Jun was lying out in a bikini and I thought it was Jee in a bikini.

Now about Justin. I don't believe one minute that he has any interest in Dana in way personal or sexual. Justin is playing her like a violin. Dana doesn't come off as being very intelligent and Justin is taking advantage of that. He knows that she wants him and he is going to use her attraction for him to his advantage as long as he can.

And Dana gave crappy reasons for choosing the two houseguests she put up. I have a feeling that Dana will be reduced to tears more than once this week.

Icon769 07-26-03 12:09 AM

I missed tonights episode. Did I miss anything good?

The reasons given for nominations are always crappy, it seems. It's not personal... it's just a strategic move... blah blah, yadda yadda. It's all a bunch of BS anyway.

HOH is a tough job. With every nomination you are making 2 instant enemies as HOH.

Dana's picks were ! Jack's world is crashing down, which is funny because he thought he had it all under control. I thought it was also funny that Alison said "the game is on now" (or something like that) and went off on Dana in the diary room. I remember Michelle saying something very similar... and we all know who was next to LEAVE!! I say good riddance, Alison. She does seem like a fake ass-kisser.

MJKTool 07-26-03 12:54 AM

Alison is good as gone I think.

(I assume you mean Robert.) You better get used to them. I think one or both of them will stay to (at least) the final five.

...not to mention arrogant, conceited, manipulative, two-faced and freaking annoying! Only reason she'll be kept around is her cooking which will really work to her advantage.

I disagree. I think Dana's noms were risky but quite smart. She is breaking ties with the original alliance, but they wanted to get rid of her anyway. Dana would have been the first choice to evict if it had come down to the original alliance only in the house. I think Dana has improved her chances with the new alliance of justin, jee, robert, jun(?). Of course, jun is playing both sides so you cannot trust her at all.

Couldn't have said it better myself. These nominations were right on. The only other person I would've considered (if I were Dana) is David because he is a strong player. Jack is a very strong player, but that'll only get you so far - you have to be liked as well. Not that he isn't liked, he's just like Dana said: no opinion on his personality. Alison was obviously personal, but it was completely strategical in that the ex's now have the upper hand. As annoying as Dana is, she increased her chances of making it to the final 2 or 3 immensly.

jun(?). Of course, jun is playing both sides so you cannot trust her at all.
"Queen" Jun, you better hop on the ex train as it's your only chance of sticking around for a few more weeks. Although, to her advantage, she doesn't have to decide until the next HoH competition. The original alliance will still have an advantage in the competition as they have 4 vs 3 (not including Jun). If one of the original 7 wins HoH, she can still stick to the alliance (if they believe her) and be fairly safe. The next HoH is by far the most important so far as we will know the final 4 or 5 hg's base on who wins, imo.....

dolphinboy 07-26-03 02:42 AM

If Allison gets the boot there will be no women left in the house.

Jun=not a woman. not sure what she is. walrus, maybe.
Erika=result of failed cloning experiment of Lisa from BB3
Dana=she's a man, baby!

shanester 07-26-03 05:56 AM

Way to a go Dana ! She may be from Brooklyn but she's no dummy!

As others have said she chose Dave & Allison knowing that if she didn't break up the original alliance NOW she would have had no chance later on and would have been the first to go.

Also by "saving" the x's this week I gurantee you if Robert, Jee or Justin win HOH they won't put her up as a favor owed..

From a strategic point it made sense what she did and I would have done the same thing

I also wasn't too excited about the whole X factor in the beginning but with Jee and Jun having a secret alliance maybe Robert & Erika who seemed to have put aside their hostilities (for now anyway) can do the same thing. I think it will make the game even more unpredictable along with Dana's choices for eviction this week!

Oh and I hope Allison gets shown the door over Jack

Patman 07-26-03 10:24 AM

Dana got so totally played by Justin (who is not one of my faves on the show). What's so funny is that Justin psychologically has to win at everything, and presents himself as the biggest threat (if Dana wasn't so bamboozled by Justin, she'd understand what Jack was talking about to her in the HoH room). Justin's need to win will be his downfall. I don't think you can be a frontrunner from start to finish in this game (like Justin has been).

You have to play it like Jun is playing for the first half, and hope you can piss off less people as you get further in the game. Also, Dana wouldn't listen to the sense that Jun was making in telling Dana that she should stick to the original alliance and pick off these Ex-men because she could skate through the next few weeks instead of painting a huge big X on her forehead by cutting her ties with the original alliance. That the Ex-men got so lucky as to get Dana as HoH this week will most likely be the deciding factor in how the rest of the game is played.

But it's pretty amazing how fortunes can turn from week to week, and that's what makes this a compelling show to watch all summer long.
