Keen Eddie Moving to Thursdays
Well, color me completely shocked.
According to this futoncritic article, Fox has decided not to shelve the series when The O.C. takes over the Tuesday 9 PM slot.
It's not airing this week, but starting a week from Thursday (July 24), Keen Eddie will air Thursdays at 8 PM. While it'll still probably take a ratings miracle (it'll now be up against Friends/Scrubs, and The Amazing Race) to bring the show back for another season, this move does increase the chances of all the episodes airing.

This pleases me greatly since I watch nothing on Thursdays anyway (even though it doesn't really matter, I usually replay it and watch it saturday morning no matter what heh)

FOX can NEVER make a "Good News/Good News" announcement. It ALWAYS seems to be "Good News/Bad News".
Well, the "Good News" is we're not cancelling Keen Eddie. The "Bad News" is we're putting it up against underperformers like Friends...

I don't know how to describe how immensely happy I am that we might be able to see all thirteen eps. {crosses fingers that Fox re-news it for this fall.}

Well, better than nothing. Hopefully that won't be its permanent time slot. "Gilmore Girls" started out against "Friends", but the WB made a very wise decision in moving it to a less competitive time slot.

Well that's good news for once. Also I'm thinking ratings for Friends might be down this season, given the fact that last season was pretty lackluster. I'll be surprised if Keen Eddie lasts much longer than midseason, but its good that we will at least see all the recorded episodes. And maybe it'll find a good audience to keep it going.
