Jee should've nominated 2 people from the Elite 8 (now 7). If the Elite stand together, then Michelle will get the boot:

Michelle - Nathan, Allison, Dana, Jun, Dave, Jack
Erika - Robert, Justin

Nathan & Jack have both seemed determined so far to stick to the original alliance; and, if I were one of the 7, I certainly wouldn't want to break with them at this point. (Of course the nominees could change, depending on the Veto.)

And what was up with Jee seeming to make a deal with Dave to nominate Dana instead, only to put up Michelle after all? I was waiting for a Diary Room entry from Dave to address this, but it didn't happen.

Well, guess who won POV this week:

Spoiler:
Dave! Will he take Michelle off the block, or actually get one of his allies, Erika, off the block and hopes that Jee doesn't put up Jack or Nathan. Too bad Jee would lack the balls to put up Jun at this point in the game.

I would have preffered to see Dana and Erika or Jun up for eviction

I like Michelle even though she's not too bright

It doesn't appear that any of the ex's know there is an alliance against them..I wonder who will be the first of the original eight to tell them

She is very cute. I think she look slike a young Sarah Michelle Gellar. Without the kick-ass Buffy attitude.

Isn't the Veto this year Golden, which means the person with the power of Veto also has the power to decide who the new nominee should be?

No, the golden Veto allows the holder to take themselves off the nomination block (if they have been nomination), as well as the other nominee. The HoH would still retain the power to nominate a 3rd person if the POV is used.

When Big Brother slipped in the Golden Veto towards the end of the game last season, this is why Julie slapped Marcellus for not using it to save himself by taking himself off the nomination block. Marcellus was self-delusional, thinking that he'd win over Amy, and BOOM! He was shown the door.

The older Red Veto power didn't allow for the POV winner to take themselves off the nomination block, but they could take the other nominee off the block.

Now back to commenting on this week's events in terms of strategy:

The nominations (of Michelle and Erika) are all about Robert getting Erika out of the house. That's why only Erika was targetted, and Michelle was used as the pawn. Jee got used by Robert in a bad way (even though Jee really likes Robert for the moment, strategically, it's a bad move). The problem is this:

If no POV is used, here's how the votes would probably go:

Erika gets the boot from:
Robert
Justin
Dana

Michelle gets the boot from:
Jack
Dave
Nathan

The wildcards are:
Allison
Jun

But I think the 2 girls would vote to boot Michelle just because Michelle's got that cute factor going (and Nathan like that, and Allison sees it as another girl competing for Nathan in some way, and Jun needs to stay with the original alliance because she has no shot being with the Ex's).

But if Jun were to switch, and force a tie, then Jee would have the final tie-breaking vote and Erika would be gone.

So, there is a possibility that the POV won't be used, and that Michelle will be sent home anyway, which would accomplish the goal of sending the Ex's out of the house one by one, and this nomination move by Jee and Robert will blow up in their faces by getting their numbers whittled down for sending up one of their own instead of targetting 2 of the original 7.

If POV is used, and Jee puts up another one of the original 7, Michelle will be sent home, just based on the numbers. That is, if Dana isn't nominated because she's the only one that would get the boot from the original 7 (Dana would get booted by Nathan, Allison, Jun, Jack, Erika, Dave), but Jee thinks Dana would be a bigger asset to him in the game, so she'd never be nominated by him anyway.

There's been plenty of gameplay going on according to the livefeed updates. I don't know how these houseguest live under such pressure, especially with the artificially stimulated boost in intensity due to the presences of the Ex's in the house. It used to take maybe 4 weeks to get people to love/hate each other, but now, with so much familiarity inside the house, the pressure got ratcheted up in less than a week or two.

Dana's days are numbered unless she pulls out some HoHs and POVs. Everyone knows that she's the one totally playing both sides now, but the Elite 7 still have numbers on their side, so Dana is a marked woman.

I agree that Dana is definitely screwed if she doesn't do something quick.

I couldn't sleep last night and I had signed up for the free trial of the live feeds this week. I tuned in and laughed so hard at what was going on. I doubt it will ever be covered on the TV show, but I'll spolier it anyway because it's a bit adult oriented.

Brief description:

Spoiler:
A bunch of houseguests were lying around in one of the bedrooms in the middle of the night talking about sex. I think it was Nate, Allison, Michelle (who was freaking out about it being on TV the whole time and was embarassed about everything - but in a cute way), Jun, Dana, David, and Erika. Jack even walked in a little later. It was not a light discussion, it was very detailed and graphic, covering topics like oral sex, sexual behaviours, etc. The best line was when Jun asked if anyone ever had anal sex. Everyone pretty much said no, then Jack chimed in and said, "I've put it in the wrong place"... everyone lost it in the room.

By the way, I absolutely loved seeing Marcellus on the show this week. I really miss him! I'd love to see him on a show or something "doing his thing". He'd be great on that "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" show or I could see him as some sort of judge on a reality show. He is hilarious.

I absolutely lost it when he commented on Justin: "The Caesar is tired, but..."

Okay, an update of what happened in terms of strategy yesterday:

Spoiler:
It appears that Allison and Jun are going to stick to the Original alliance, and will be booting out Michelle by a 5-3 margin if Dave doesn't use the POV to save Erika. And they can't wait to see the look on the eX-Men (Jee, Justin, Robert) when it goes down on Wednesday night. What's delicious is that the eX-Men have extended "offers" to Dave and Jack to form an uber-Men's alliance, with Nate being the first one to be put on the block next week once Erika is gone, probably as payback for putting up Jee last week. Yes, the eX-Men think that Erika is still going home. Jee is a little worried that Dave will force his hand by using the POV, and Jee has been trying to convince Dave not to use POV, else he'll be forced to put up Jack (but would in likelihood put up Nate). I think Dave will not use POV, but will still get the job done by having Michelle get the boot. But the POV gives Dave leverage with the eX-Men, so he's still keeping them unbalanced.

Michelle is literally the mushroom being kept in the dark. Everyone from both sides are telling her that Erika is going home, and that she has nothing to worry about. Erika's not having a good time because, well, her lack of worldly experience has handicapped her in terms of socialization and past experiences to share, so she basically stays quiet while other share their stories, or give their opinions on things.

Jee was basically blubbering to Robert how he missed his girlfriend, just wants a weekly letter or phone call from her, blah blah blah. Jee is such a wussy. Robert was doing his best to calm Jee down, and to not let the isolation get the best of him, Robert even had to resort to citing how being in the house has kept him away from his daughter, so he and Jee share a similar pain of being away from the one they love. Blah blah blah.

The power position of HoH has gotten the best of Jee, and he's been repeating things over and over again, and doesn't see the big picture that once Wednesday's next HoH is over, he'll be back to being the guy that no one talked to in the first week. The eX-Men really think they are going to pull one over their ex's, but it's highly doubtful they will be able to unless either Robert or Justin get HoH this coming week.

Jack, Dave and Erika are probably the tightest of the alliances in terms of power only because they've convinced Jun, Allison, and Nate about the importance of sticking with the original alliance. Dana's going on the chopping block as soon as Robert and Justin are gone for good, and then it'll be either Jee or Dana that goes next, if things go according to plan...

What? This dropped to the second page? Pshaw. Pshaw I say.

I think
Spoiler:
Dave screwed up by not using the veto. He should have used it to take Erika off and make Jee make a choice. Sure it would have been a risk, but Jee would have had little choice but to put Dana on the block or risk slitting his own throat. This could have helped to stabilize Erika in the alliance and get rid of Dana, who is clearly wavering and could likely partner up with the Exes over the next couple days.

Yeah, I forgot about that. That surprised me, too. Maybe that's a glimpse of the nasty personality Robert's been talking about?

IF Michelle gets voted out tonight it`s all over for the ex's. Bad move by Jee should have put up Dana instead

Ditto what other`s have said about Erika she came across like a complete racist. Those remarks will haunt her in real life 4 ever. CBS probably should have edited them out..

PS I thaught Michelle was a virgin why is she always walking around half naked??....What a tease

Last night's episode was edited pretty well, and did a decent job covering most of the game-playing in terms of strategic moves/non-moves, and all the quirks/tics of the players, especially Man Troll, who has been universally irritating.

How about Jun and Jee working in cahoots. I wonder how long it'll take for that to surface, and others make the connection. They have been warned against speaking to each other in Korean, and singing in Korean.

What people don't see is how persistent Jee was in telling everyone that he had done enough (by nominating Erika) in an effort not to have to put up another person if POV was used. We're talking hours of saying the same talking points over and over.

I still think it's going to come down to Jun and then Jee because I have this nagging suspicion that Jun will vote out Erika (along with Justin, Robert and Dana), and that'll yield a 4-4 tie and then Jee breaks the tie. So Erika might be gone gone gone.

I had no idea this was against the rules. What's the difference between something like this and locking yourself up in a room and whispering?

You can whisper all you want, but it has to be in English. BB doesn't want to go out and hire a Korean translator if they don't have to.

Last season, there was a small stink about the sign language being used by Lisa and Danielle at times.

From conversations on the live feeds, it looks like tonight's evictee will be
Spoiler:
Michelle.

Spoiler:
Going into the vote, Jack, David, Nathan & Allison were pretty solid behind Erika, with Robert & Justin against her. The wildcards were Dana (obviously) and Jun (somewhat). If both of them voted against Eka, it would've forced a tie, which Jee as HOH would've broken. But a conversation between Ali, Dana & Jun after the vote indicated that they all stuck with the original alliance. (Big Brother was not happy, btw, and told them they were not to discuss the voting.) Of course, it's possible that Dana and/or Jun were lying to Ali about their vote -- in which case they've just painted a bigger target on their back.

David not using the Veto looks like it was the right move after all, and seems to have resulted in a strengthening of the Elite Alliance, at least for the moment.

The HOH helps set the tone in the house and Jee has been a disaster: arrogant, deluded, and completely in Robert's thrall. (Both of them were talking the other day, believing they were sitting pretty and practically counting the money they were going to win on the show.) Jee persisted in his belief that everyone wants Erika out, even when half of the house was telling him to put up Dana instead. In a replay of Nicole vs. Chilltown in BB2, Erika's survival will be less her own doing, than as a way for the houseguests to send a giant "F* you" to Jee.

Personally, I can't wait to see his face when the vote comes in and he sees how completely clueless he is.

And, ladies and gentlemen, this is why we watch Big Brother! That people not only get F'd up, but then have to live in the same house with those who F'd them up until they are shown the door next!

And I do think that becoming HoH does show the true colors of the novice players much more than the shrewder ones. It's like all their bad qualities get amplified when they become HoH. Jee has been Robert's beyotch through it all.
