AlTV - did anyone see this?

There was a new AlTV thing on VH1 a few nights ago, the Weird Al Yankovic program. Anyway, he did these "celebrity interviews" thing where he takes interview clips from musicians and edits them with questions he asks. He did these for Eminem, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, and Avril Lavigne. They were really funny, mostly. Asked Eminem if he had Tourette's Syndrome.

It was totally to promote his new album, and the parody videos he showed weren't so great but the interviews were hilarious.

Did anyone see this recent installment?

I saw a bit of the one with Avril Lavigne. I fell asleep halfway through, though. (NOt that it wasn't funny, I was really tired).

Vh1 airs everything a lot. They're worst than mtv now. It'll be on again. Here's the thread I started:

I think they are MTV now. They constantly air "Making the Video", and they are airing a speical on "The Real World". I can't even tell you how many times I watch MTV in the early morning, and switch over to VH1, and they show the exact same video at the same time. It's eerie.

Plus, AL-TV used to air on MTV. Fascinating.

AL-TV was hilarious, though. I think the Eminem interview was the weakest, but still good. The Celine and Avril ones had me in tears, they were so funny. Then again, I'm easily amused by him.

Al does an episode of "Al TV" everytime he has a new album.

I remember a 1992 "AL TV" where he did the same interview segments, most notable (for me) with Joe Elliott. This was during Al's Off the Deep End or Alapalooza -era promotion.

I thought this episode had too many interviews and they were too long. usually he has more videos, this time he only had like 3.
