David Letterman to start taking short weeks?
Sounds like, from what Dave said on the show last night, that he is going to start taking Friday's off as well, with a guest host filling in. Anyone know the details?

hasn't he been taking fridays off for years? I've stopped watching a while ago but he was on a 4 day week for a long time IIRC...

Don't know the details, but he kept saying he was taking the day off. I hope it doesn't turn into a Carson-like situation by having it be weekly.
The crickets sure were loud when Dave announced Tom Arnold would be the guest-host.

I have no problem w/ him regularly using guest hosts. Now bring back Vince Vaughn, Elvis Costello and Bonnie Hunt, Letterman!
