Hitler for Outstanding Achievement?
The only category I can say I've watched all of the shows is the Drama category.

What's with the program of the year category? Does that mean that The Wire, Boomtown, or 24 are going to win the drama category and that The Daily Show is going to win the comedy? I don't watch the Sopranos, but The Shield and SFU are in a whole class above those other dramas.
I'm pretty sure the TCA have nominated Buffy several times; where's the nomination for the two best show on tv this year, Angel and Gilmore Girls? I wouldn't be surprised by these nominations except I thought the TCA usually did a pretty good job.

The Shield isn't nominated for program of the year? That undermines the credibility of the entire show. I call BULLPUCKY on this one.
DAMN! I just noticed that Michael Chiklis wasn't nominated in the INDIVIDUAL ACHIEVEMENT IN DRAMA category! BULLPUCKY BULLPUCKY BULLPUCKY!

Yeah, I don't get that either. I can understand having a special category to recognize oddball achievement like American Idol, but why the double-nod for dramas (that aren't even the best from the category)? 24 and Boomtown represent the gimmick category, but The Wire doesn't fit that. The Wire and Boomtown are new, but 24 doesn't fit that. I don't get it.
Anyway, I agree. I love The Wire and Boomtown and can find enjoyment in 24, but The Shield and Six Feet Under are in another class entirely. Maybe a description of what "Program of the Year" is would help. Last year, Six Feet Under took Drama, while 24 took New Program and Program. I don't understand the categories.
Looking at the list as a whole, I'd bump 24 from Drama and replace it with The West Wing (24 started stronger, but The West Wing finished with 3 straight episodes that were better than anything 24 did all season). I'd probably also drop Gandolfini for Chiklis in the Individual Achievement category. Other than that, though (and without fully understanding the Program of the Year category), I think it's a very solid list. They did a particularly good job with the New Program category.

Major ups to the Daily Show...what started as a show with the curiousity of a frat boy (nothing wrong with that though) has become one of the smartest and funniest shows on television

Thats a pretty stupid list of nominations. Seems like they pretty much just followed the 'buzz'.
