Sweet! This might help people to see that that hack Judd Apatow basically ripped this show off when he made "Freaks and Geeks"--because "F&G" is basically this show drained of all wit, humor, and insight.

Two damn good episodes you chose to check there.

The opening theme wasn't always Joe Cocker singing, "With A Little Help From My Friends"? (Okay, so maybe that's not Joe Cocker, but I still enjoyed the episodes I watched.)

I looked at this site: http://www.wonderyearsguide.com/ and IMDB.

I've only watched the first two eps, but so far, the music seems to match whats in the Wonder Years Guide, at least, for the songs I recognize. There's a lot of songs from that period that I don't know.

I'm watching on Netflix.

I watched the first episode and except for Joe Cocker's intro, all the music seemed in tact.

*also on Netflix. Not sure if different services would offer different versions, but might be worth noting.

The Wonder Years on NetFlix - Do not know where to put this

Sorry if have this in the wrong spot...

Logged onto NetFlix and found "The Wonder Years", placed it in my VIDEO STREAMING Que.

It has all the Seasons, I hope it has the original music with the show, will find out when I get home tonight.

The Wonder Years is one of my top 5 shows of all time.

It's a top 10 show of all-time for me. I'm still skeptical that this will really hit DVD, let alone with the original music in tact.

I would have tossed it in this thread:

...where it's already been covered.

Dang, after all these years, I still cried when Brian Cooper died. And, I have seen this show many times, I knew what was going to happen. What a great show.

Could never have the show without the original music, I would never buy the show without the awesome sound track.

How is it free if you are paying for amazon prime?

If I'd already signed up to Amazon Prime expecting to receive expedited shipping I'd regard anything else as "free" because the marginal cost to me would be... nothing. YMMV.

Watched "Goodbye" yesterday, and I am glad no one was in the room with me.

It is one of the most heart felt shows The Wonder Years put out. I knew what was coming, but it still got to me.

When have people believe in you, you can do more than you could imaging.

Spoiler:
I always wondered if Kevin's 1st test was the last straw for Mr Collin?

I just re-subbed for this show. Glad to see all the music is still kept intact.

It's being aired here currently, and "Goodbye" was on the other day, about the death of Mr. Collins. Darn it if the tears didn't start welling toward the end! I still think this is possibly the highpoint of the series. Perfection.

I've been watching it with my kids on Hulu. The lack of Joe Cocker's version of the theme is annoying. Paying for a sound alike was an interesting choice though. My kids don't know any different.

Also you'd think they'd be better at blending generic music where a song used to be by now, but nope. There are some very obvious spots where a classic song should be. Of course a quick Google proves these assumptions.

We're halfway through season 3. Such an amazing show. I haven't seen it since its original run.

Although the episodes are still strong with the substitution music, it's not as powerful without its original music.

This show has only been released on DVD with Shout doing a great job with the music licensing for the most part.

Is it being streamed on HD on Hulu?

2 a.m. on something called Yes TV. Four days a week. Not on Wednesdays, for whatever reason.
It's now well into Season 3, which I think was home to, along with Season 4, many if not most of the show's best episodes.
