All episodes were good but 1 out of every 3 really were great. I just watched through the whole series just recently and i know exactly what you mean about Madeline. Everytime Madeline shows back up you think Kevin might finally wise up but nope. The show is definitely good all the way through but I still prefer the earlier seasons, before Fred Savage goes through puberty. |
damn, had the vcr set up (cause the dvr was taken by monday night raw) and the sob didn't record, is it possible to continue or just wait till they restart again.

People who have Amazon Prime will be able to watch "The Wonder Years" online for free
Message from the amazon homepage:
Dear Customer, I have big news for Amazon Prime members - we've just signed a deal with FOX to add a broad selection of movies and TV shows to our unlimited instant streaming service later this fall. The new additions from the FOX library include 24, Arrested Development, The X-Files, Ally McBeal, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and - available on digital video for the first time - The Wonder Years. We now have deals with CBS, NBCUniversal, Sony, and Warner Bros, and adding FOX will bring the total to more than 11,000 movies and TV shows available for unlimited instant streaming. Since launching earlier this year, we have now doubled the number of titles available in Prime instant videos, and there's still more to come. Prime membership remains $79 a year, and of course features our unlimited free two-day shipping on millions of products. Prime is one of the best values anywhere. Prime instant videos can be played on more than 300 HDTVs, Blu-ray players, and set-top boxes. |

I hope they keep the music intact.
Really want to see these, but would prefer DVD/Blu-Ray, not that this is likely to happen. Also, already paying for Netflix streaming, not sure I want to also pay for Amazon Prime. Dang... |
Re: People who have Amazon Prime will be able to watch "The Wonder Years" online for
Great news

Wow, that's an impressive "get" for Amazon.
|
Re: People who have Amazon Prime will be able to watch "The Wonder Years" online for
Now if they could only stream to an Xbox 360 or PS3.

Not officially, legally, or in good quality. Apparently the rights issues for the ton of period music used in the show has kept it from being released on dvd/blu-ray.

Re: People who have Amazon Prime will be able to watch "The Wonder Years" online for
It's going to be released in Netflix "soon" too.
I don't have high hopes they are keeping the original music. |
Re: People who have Amazon Prime will be able to watch "The Wonder Years" online for
Not having the original music would be a pretty big disappointment.
|
Re: People who have Amazon Prime will be able to watch "The Wonder Years" online for
Netflix announced The Wonder Years months ago and still no WY on netflix streaming. I think they are replacing the music.
|
Re: People who have Amazon Prime will be able to watch "The Wonder Years" online for
I would love...LOVE to watch The Wonder Years again, and to watch it with my kids, but I have zero use for a version with the music replaced. Every episode was like a mini-music history lesson.
It pained me to watch the Quantum Leap DVDs, so much that I sold them off. Period shows just aren't the same without the music.

It's currently airing on The Hub network as well
|
Re: People who have Amazon Prime will be able to watch "The Wonder Years" online for
Well ... if Amazon Prime treats this like the other shows they have, then random shows will be missing for "contract" reasons. Watched through Frasier and there are gaps, not to mention most of the last season missing. Very disappointing for something though of as a big "get" for Amazon over Netflix.
|
Re: People who have Amazon Prime will be able to watch "The Wonder Years" online for
Its up on Netflix now. Before you get too excited, the music is changed.
|
Re: People who have Amazon Prime will be able to watch "The Wonder Years" online for
The opening theme is changed but the two episodes I watched still had the original songs in them, Bob Seger's "We've Got Tonight" is still at the end of The Accident in season 4 and The Beach Boys' "God Only Knows" is in Heartbreak, also in season 4.
