I never did see the LA Real World season (or the 1st season in NYC).

BDB 06-18-03 03:05 PM

Alright I am catching up, I saw last weeks episode where Ace or was it CJ got hammered, and they harassed some french guy for driving a small car.

Ace hates france, but wait he visits La Defense and now he loves it, fyi La Defense is essentially the financial district of Paris, not much else happened apart from 'Tina and CT almost hooking up and they were told what job they will have.

I may see ep 3 tonight

Red Dog 06-18-03 03:10 PM

Ace's girlfriend from back home is smokin' hot - you see a picture of her in episode 3.

Blaster1 06-18-03 03:28 PM

Ace is a hypocrite. He says he doesn't want a girl that smokes because it will cut her life short then he goes on alcohol binges drinking every drop of alcohol he can get.

I don't think he's a hypocrite; I think he's a moron. :lol:

FuzzyBallz 06-18-03 04:32 PM

Actually Ace is a playa in disguise. He's gonna end up banging all three chicks.

vaporware 06-18-03 04:46 PM

Adam should ask his mother if his father is really Gary Dell'Abate

It wouldn't be hard. They all drool over him like he is God's gift to women. I don't see what is so great about him looks wise. He is an alright looking guy, but not what they are making him out to be. Mallory is so fake. She wants to play a nice virgin on tv, when her actions clearly state otherwise. Look what she was saying when she thought the cameras weren't on her. She isn't a virgin. Chris, Simon, and Christina seem like the only decent people in the house.

FuzzyBallz 06-18-03 05:42 PM

Well, you can't blame the chicks. I mean if it weren't for the fact that Simon came right out the first day and told everybody he's gay, the girls would be having an orgy w/ him the first night.

Was watching Mallory talking to her mom last night and I was rolling. She's all like, mommy, I don't want to be a bad girl. And her mom's like, you're a bad girl and I'm gonna spank you. Mal: I don't want to be bad, but I like being spank...

Now, that's just disturbing...

Patman 06-18-03 10:48 PM

Well, Ace is a bar owner, so alcohol is literally in his blood. I guess liver cancer doesn't occur in his family...

Mallory is really a good looking girl, too bad she's a wreck (just add alcohol).

Mal's mom is a role model of positive reinforcement...NOT!

Jonny2k1 06-19-03 09:53 AM

So far I like the Real World Paris a lot. Mallory is a total hottie, I bet she is gonna get typecast as a good girl gone wild though. That's the only thing I don't like about Real World, they totally typecast somebody.

Patman 06-19-03 10:12 AM

Yeah, I'm digging RW Paris more than last season.

Could Simon be more of a beeyotch to Mallory for losing Leah's purse?

mwj 06-19-03 01:58 PM

I'm thinking Leah and Mallory are going have some problems. They both want Ace bad and he obviously wants Mallory.

Yep that guy needs a big foot to the head. What is up with his hair?! :lol:

Ralph Wiggum 06-25-03 08:42 AM

It's been an entertaining season thus far.

Mallory and Christina :drool:

Too bad that Ace, Adam, CT and Leah are all complete jackasses. Hopefully, Mallory and Simon start to show some personality soon.

Christina actually seems to be pretty cool. :up:

Red Dog 06-25-03 09:08 AM

MTV incurred my wrath last night with that stupid thing they had in the upper right corner that said "Stay Tuned for a All New Osbournes" during the entire episode of the RW. That thing was worse than the damn TNN black bar.

tofu 06-25-03 09:21 AM

During that argument between CT and Christina, he just kept looking like he was gonna cry or something. At the end of it, did he say, "Give me a kiss"? He must think that she still kinda likes him or something.

Patman 06-25-03 10:58 AM

CT's just a big wookie, looking for acceptance.

wm lopez 06-26-03 02:13 AM

While most of the U.S.A. is boycotting France because of their no support during the war, leave it to MTV to film THE REAL WORLD there.

mwj 06-26-03 08:07 PM

All the sympathy I had for Leah has now vanished and been replaced by contempt. Her constant harping about how stupid CT is, while she has no clue Ace is not interested. Pot meet kettle.

Patman 06-26-03 08:10 PM

Leah = Lame.
Mallory = Conflicted, but HOT!
Adam = Big Haired Dork
Ace = Boozehound
CT = Inconsiderate
Simon = Out-girlies the girls
Christina = HOT, but needy.

There's a huge difference between starting a war because some country bombed the shed out of your harbor Vs. invading some country based on crappy intelligence info, distracting the mindless asses from the sheddy econemy, and looking to add more oil to the family business.

Ok.... except that The Real World started filming way back in February. And they probably had the plans going since some time last year. They're not going to abandon their show because of an unrelated disagreement in foreign policy. Anti-French sentiment from (certain) Americans is nothing new anyways.

Achtung 06-27-03 01:02 AM

Was I the only one laughing out loud during the "booger" scene with CT and Leah? I'm not sure why, but that scene had me in stiches... :lol: :lol:

Yeah it looks like Tina is being a real bitch about the damn meat and peanut butter that CT ate. He was kinda blowing her off, but you know they'll end up :hump: together.

Mallory--she is really turning into a piece of work. She puts on the "nice little virgin" face, but you know the real reason she auditioned for the show. Still, I can't hate a fellow soccer player. :)

Ace is still a freaking redneck, and I have absolutely no idea why those girls are all over him. Adam seems to have nothing in common with the rest of the gang. Simon also seems to have grown close to Leah (liked the scene where they were eavesdropping).

God I'm sad for watching this show... but there seems to be nothing else on tv worthwhile. :o

Jadzia 06-27-03 09:24 AM

The whole argument about the peanut butter reminded me of that Saturday Night Live skit years ago with Bob Dole living in the Real World house.

"Who ate Bob Dole's peanut butter?"

CharlesC 06-27-03 09:52 AM

:lol:

Leah is such a bitch. HUGE FAT bitch.

That booger scene was priceless. I'm guessing Leah didn't have any brothers.

tofu 06-27-03 11:24 AM

I heard these rumors on E! News that Christine and Adam were going to make out later or were caught recently making out and frankly, from these shows, I just don't see it.

BDB 07-08-03 10:34 PM

Okay can anyone explain what is going on in this house, if its not conflict between Adam and Leah/Christina it's CT and the 2 girls, for sure the other 3 must be hiding in the background

Achtung 07-09-03 01:48 AM

Tonight's episode--utterly hilarious. CT has proven again what a complete jackass he is.

Red Dog 07-09-03 08:07 AM

That was a really funny episode. That was the best RW in a long long time.

Jadzia 07-09-03 08:58 AM

I was laughing so hard at last night's episode. It was the funniest thing since a new "Curb Your Enthusuasm" episode.

I was watching it and I was like "Oh my God, CT is Larry David." I could totally picture the events unfolding with Larry or with George Costanza on Seinfeld.

Prickly relationship, can't remember ordering flowers, person assuming Larry sent the flowers and Larry deciding to take credit for sending them, enjoys the good graces, and then is called on it at the end!

:lol:

MJKTool 07-09-03 12:23 PM

Great episode! I love how he tried to weasel out by reading that email :lol:

AXP 103 07-09-03 01:16 PM

It was definitely a top 5 all time episode. I like C.T., he is a boob that doesn't mean any harm but finds a way to stumble into irregardless. His morning massacre look(Bugged out eyes, hair flying in every direction possible) had me in tears.

And they say Reality TV is dead!

Jonny2k1 07-09-03 02:21 PM

Last night's episode was awesome. In CT's defense, he never actually took credit for the flowers and tried to find out who sent them. He did mess up when he was trying to hide the fact that he knew somebody else sent them. The fight was funny, CT just kept humping the air. He does need a haircut though, or just let it stand straight up.

CharlesC 07-09-03 02:47 PM

Oh that morning after look rocked. The minute I saw it I thought of this guy:
http://www.crazybones.com/images/goku.gif

"I just don't want some guy sending you an email saying he was the one who sent you the flowers ... or something like that." Hilarious.

"So. Am I back in the dog house?"

mwj 07-09-03 04:01 PM

CT may be an idiot, but Christina and especially Leah are just as stupid. Plus Leah is a stuck-up bitch. The funniest thing to me was Chris and then Leah's mom perfectly summing up Leah's Queen Bee behavior.

Patman 07-09-03 11:00 PM

The Real World this season is being left behind when it comes to really juicy dramatic undertones. This was like watching an old episode of Three's Company in a bad sitcom-y way.

I think I prefer that. I've never been a fan of the over-the-top seasons (i.e. Hawaii).

Los Angeles was probably my favorite season.

CharlesC 07-10-03 11:47 AM

Agreed. I like people I can relate to somewhat not psychos.

Patman 07-10-03 12:10 PM

I had to admit, I was laughing pretty hard have Chewbacca's hair in the morning, and in the diary room.
