Everwood - Pilot alert
For those late to the Everwood party, the WB is re-running the pilot for the show tonight (Monday) at its normal 9 p.m. EDT timeslot.

Well, we who were late to the Everwood party have to take what we can get. Perhaps it'll be broken up into 2 parts? Or is it really going to be chopped to hell to make it all fit into 1 hour.

Hey, I really enjoyed the pilot.
Does Nina have a newborn as well as Sam? For the life of me, I can't recall Nina's baby on the show, but Nina was definitely pregnant on the pilot.
Also, is it just me, or is Mr. Irv a dead ringer for Shrek? It's uncanny!

I forgot what was cut from the 10 minutes, but I remember thinking that when I saw the 1-hour version that I preferred having the extra part.
I think one of the cut scenes was Ephram's wet dream, i can't remember. I thought that was funny.

Ah, that makes sense.
Ephraim's wet dream was good for some chuckles as well. Gregory Smith is a good young actor.
If they ever needed to cast a young Fred (from Angel), they should use Vivien Cardone (Delia).

It's a bit odd to see Treat Williams without facial hair.
Is Everwood always widescreen? I can't remember, but I think this looks different than the usual episodes. Maybe I'm just going insane...

I believe Everwood has always been 16x9 (to take in the landscape of the mountains).

IIRC they cut the scenes out with Ephram and Andy when he was washing his sheets and Andy says something about puberty. I missed the first 15 so I don't know what they cut from there.
Great first effing episode, this pilot really has everything I love about the show in it.
