Killing the audio tech doomed the final epsiode IMO. At this point they need to rename the show 26 so they can wrap it up properly. I have a feeling I'm going to be pissed off about how this turns out next week unless Jack dies, we go to war and they spin this story off into a different show. I'll be amazed if I like how they end the season. I really don't think they are going to leave anything to be continued. Almost nothing this season had anything to do with last season. And where the heck is Nina?

I have thought the same thing!! The shows where Jack was tortured and then died were pretty tense, but the last two episodes have been kind ho hum. I thought they would have a two hour, nerve racking finale. Wasn't last years finale a two hour show? I hope the finale is good, but everything seems kinda anti-climatic.

I believe Carlos Bernard said a while back in an interview that the first few episodes of season 1 have a connection to the last episodes of season 2.

Nope, one hour (actually 43 or 44 minutes), just like the first 23 episodes.

Do you have the DVD set? There is an alternate ending where Nina doesn't kill Jack' wife.

I have felt that the whole end of the season since the bomb went off has been anticlimatic, but I am looking forward to finding out how they wrap it all up (or don't).

Wasn't the final episode the one that was shown without any commercial interuptions at all (other than a long commrcial for some truck at the beginning and end)?
