"And just when you think things can't get any better for "Family Guy," 20th Century Fox Home Video is reporting the series' recent release of DVD has sold over 400,000 copies. While nowhere near the 1 million plus series like "The Simpsons" and "Sex and the City" have sold, it's still an amazing feat for a program that only produced 50 episodes."
I know I have not seen 50 episodes. Is that an accurate number, because I thought I had seen them all.

I'm told that Cartoon Network may eventually air the "Weinstein" episode. They're talkling to FOX about getting the master copy, but there's a hold-up at FOX about whether they want to release it or not. We watched it yesterday and honestly, we've all seen much worse on 'Family Guy' in terms of stereotypes.
Did anybody watch last night when they alluded to billionaire, and Cartoon Network founder, Ted Turner having sex with a dog and fathering puppies that bore his resembelence?

I've seen the Weinstein episode and I can't remember it being all that offensive. Maybe I'll have to watch it again tomorrow.

does this reflect Carson's later time slot than Conan, or is he actually more interesting for men 18-24?!

78,000 people 18 - 24 watch Carson Daly at 1:30 am
It's probably mostly nielsen people who accidently left the TV on after Conan.
I never realized his numbers were that low.. but I suppose 1:30 am does hurt it a bit.

i love family guy. its a great show i watch ym family guy dvd almost every night and it doesnt get old for me. i cant wait for the 3rd season on dvd it has the christmas special,i love that episode luckily i have it on a tape. i tapes a few family guy episodes. family guy reruns are getting great ratings and the dvd sales are selling great. thats good news. i heard a rumour that cartoon network is dealing with fox so they can do new episodes. i hope that happens. if family guy does come back i doubt it will be on fox cause they alreayd gave it a second chance. they just dont know where to put the timeslots. as for futurama, i thought it was a very good show that would be on 10 seasons+ same with family guy. they were genius. i never got to watch futurama realy cause it kept getting preempted. i need to pick up the futurama dvd. well anyways family guy rules and everyone likes that show it was a horrible move to cancel it by fox. they should have cancled koth or the simpsons(cause the new simpsons suck) IMO

I saw family guy once or twice on Fox, but for some reason, I never could get into it, even though I had a few friends who were rabid fans. Well, I knew it was on Cartoon Network, so I decided to Tivo it and give it a shot. Something must have finally clicked, but I loved it. I'll be recording them all now.

The show was always one of the best. Both in humour and the disturbing subject matter. Just because they were animated enabled them to get away with murder.

New episodes will air through July 3rd, then they'll start all over again.
The show will then 'rest' for a while in September when I think new 'Home Movies' and the remaining episodes of 'Futurama' will premiere.

Will they be as raunchy? Cartoon network seems to bleep out a lot of stuff.
