Not classic, but damn good after last week's laugh-free desolation.

I liked last week's episode better. I don't think that I laughed once during this weeks episode, whereas last week I thought that the song was pretty funny...

Wow. They're just treading water at this point.

The only laugh I had was the "Arby's" slam and the "they're just hams," at the end.

I liked the "hams", "Bob Guccione", and "Arby's" lines (and a couple others), but felt the actual storyline of the episode was sub-par.

Some funny stuff. The Arby's line and the hams. The opening with Homer going out and pulling Maggie out of the garbage was funny too.

Much funnier than last week's awful episode. The 'emergency hams' and Snowball's honorary park were great.

since I'm a loser cat owner who lives in an apartment I was glad to see snowball 2 get some attention and the other side of Duffman was decent, but overall it wasn't great

Decent episode. I'll take what I can get of the Simpsons, had a few great laughs.
Fun stuff: when Homer and bart were stealing parts of the train tracks, when Bart squirts the caulk in homer's mouth, all the Amish stuff, homer's list of "who's best in the family" (note: vegas wife is last), Gill trading his eyes for cash.

I liked the part where Marge bashed the French.

Plus the McRib disclamer that said "Will Cause Early Death" next to the smiling Crusty was hilarious.

I was worried Homer was going to say, "Mmmmmm, caulk."

The CrustyRib show was a rerun. Although the part where the guy gives Homer the lease to his car and then after eating the Rib says, "I have the buyers remorse" cracks me up.

I thought this week's show was awful. I really think it's time they retire the show.

This week and last week's episodes are the first time I've considered that... talk about boring, few laughs, but the worst writers in the world can still get a few laughs out of a 23 minutes episode.

Just an interesting side note (or not), I believe that during the Hungry Hungry Homer episode when Homer goes on a hunger strike to prove Duff is moving the Springfield Isotopes, we learn that Duffman's real name is Sid.

Why do I know this? Because my local Fox affiliate believes that they should show this episode every other week rather than air the classics from the early-mid 90s.

I don't care what anyone says, for me the nods to the 60's Batman series will never get old.

Duffman never dies! Only the actor who plays him!

That's exactly right.

BTW, he was also referred to as "Larry" in one episode, I believe.

Making a spoof of Spuds Mckenzie? How long ago was that??? It just seemed like the wrong thing to make fun of, the writers need to realise it is 2003 and not 1988.

Exactly I've always known him as Larry.

I just thought it was funny that they were mocking a character from several years ago in doing the "Spuds Mckenzie" bit, I just took that element of it as the joke.

Bart and Homer sure were having fun with the caulk.

I also like the jokes that are a bit timeless, like Spuds who ruled the 80s. Watching Season 1 of Family Guy makes me have a distaste for jokes that are flash in the pan current event stuff.
