Conan 5/2 - Triumph USO show
Can't believe there isn't a thread of this 'cause it was hilarious. Make sure you catch the Comedy Central airing on Monday if you missed it.
Triumph did a USO show for the troops in Iraq, with some great Bob Hope-type jokes. Really stupid, really raunchy, really funny one-liners. He of course brought out the "girls" for the troops, some cute little dogs that he proceeded to humiliate. Special appearances by Abe Vigoda as Saddam and Conan as Osama bin Laden -
Triumph: So Osama, where have you been hiding?
Conan: I've been hiding in a hole.
Triumph: Oh yeah, what's his name?!
Great stuff. And a really long segment, too - about 15 mins. IIRC.

OK, this has nothing to do with the topic, but I've been wondering for years : what does IIRC mean?

Thanks. I always figured that I would figure it out from context, but I was never able to.

This was from Conan's Friday night show? I don't remember seeing it at all. I Tivo'ed that show, too. Hmmmm. I'll have to watch it on CC on Monday.

I love the Triumph interviews. They have to come out with a DVD of all the interviews.
Thanks for the heads-up - now I can record the replay. If possible, please continue posting the Triumph appearances in the future.

That sportscenter bit was surprisingly long, definitely a classic. I think my all time favorite Triumph skit was when he interviewed all the Star Wars fans waiting in line for the film to open. No matter how many times I watch that thing it never gets old.

Did you see the ESPN "expose" about the dog mascot who got his toungue ripped out by Roger Neilson? Funniest bit ever on Sportscenter, that's for sure. Triumph was in rare form in that piece.

Missed that. I rarely if ever watch SportsCenter anymore.
