Is next weeks 2 hour finale of the "one story variety" or is it just two 1 hour episodes?

It should be the last two 1-hour episodes back-to-back. I suppose they could edit together, but there's really no need to, and when they rerun them they can fill two weeks this summer and not just one.

what time does the season finale start?

Good solid episode. I didn't realize how much I missed dixon and syd working together.

I loved that scene with Danny T. Gotta love him man.

Anyway sad to see Alias end. I really wish they would run it like a real series hard to follow with all the breaks in between.

I am looking forward to the Alias Season 1.

It starts at the usual time and takes Dragnet's spot for the 2nd hour.

.
Then possilbe spoiler for next week
Spoiler:
you will really hate next week as they according to the prieview, get ready for a night of passion. (which could be consitered good since Sydney takes the top off

Also, I thought Marshall was actually very funny in tonights episode.

Does anyone else think that the "Almost 30 Years" thing from last year, Syd being about 30 years old, and Sloane finding out about Rambaldi 30 years ago could possibly mean something???

Is this the series finale or season finale? Is Alias going to be cancelled?

it's been picked up for next season. ABC announced it a month or so ago.

Based on the fact that ABC.com lists two titles, it looks like it will be two one-hour episodes:
Spoiler:
"Second Double" and "The Telling"

Not going to read the spoilers, but Buffy did a two hour episode (Two to Go/Grave) and gave each hour a title. I don't believe they did separate credits or anything though.

Love Alias -- loved this episode. Best ever? No... but still, a solid episode all around.

I agree with the posts about Marshall, Sloane, et al. Can't wait for next week.

My idea for next week's season finale comes courtesy of a friend of mine and a classic conundrum.

ME: OK, so imagine that you're trapped on an island with Doug and Mark, the two most annoying people you know. And you only have a gun with one bullet...

FRIEND #1: I'd shoot myself.

FRIEND #2: No, no, I'd wait until they happened to both be standing in a perfectly straight line and then I'd use the gun.

... so here's my idea: Will and Vaughn are both coincidentally standing in a perfectly straight line when Evil Frannie drives by...

Okay before I revert back to my teenage years in a moment, I must say that I really liked this episode and am looking forward to the last two (2) minutes of the season finale.

Now to the fun part... Marshall's getting a girlfriend Kind of like puddin', nothing wrong with that.

You want to kill Will AND Vaughn? Who will Sydney get down with, then?

The ReplayTV listing includes the two titles but lists it as *one* episode. They don't do that if a channel airs 2 episodes back-to-back.
