who here watches soaps?
or is addicted to soaps? and are you male or female? i've noticed lately that i've been involved in a lot of conversations lately about soap operas. i've never been into them so i can only sit back and listen but i am so amazed at how people love them! especially how so many men love them! just recently i was in my salon and overheard a businessman gossipping about a show and the other night we went to a david sedaris reading and he went on and on about one life to live.
i'm just confused by the whole thing and hoped someone might shed some light.

I was hooked on Guiding Light and Bold and the Beautiful for a few years during and after college back in the early-mid 90s.
I also record Dynasty repeats daily on Soapnet and watch them when I get home.
