why did ceo's of other channels get involved? isn't it as faux pas as a character from one channel showing up on another (talk show guest, cameo, guest star, etc.)? why would ceo's for cbs and fox get in on a abc production? makes no sense.

as for the episode, eh. nothing too good. chyler leigh had a line. marla sokolof could count hers on a hand. the lyndsey bobby story line is annoying and i am happy if they decide to split. unless the writers decide to focus on it after the fact, that is. and lyndsey is really a psycho now. she threated bobby and teri polo in the episode. i liked her psychoness before but when she is psycho regarding normal people i'd rather have her killed.

andy mcdowell plot was different, but not stupid. always a good thing. i loved how they attacked reality tv. hopefully this is a sign that cbs and fox are leaning away from it, maybe abc as well.

bah.

i'm ashamed that I even started this thread.

it had potential, but I think Kelley needs to take a rest..all his shows are suffering..

and anytime Lindsey & Bobby were on the screen, the show came to a screeching halt..

Moonveis does it so he can keep his SAG card. Both networks are killing ABC in the ratings so it's not like it's going to give ABC a huge boost.

I thought the Andie Mcdowell story was interesting. Her speech was good and I loved the line about them eating his remains on Fear Factor.

I don't think this is a sign reality TV is coming to a end. It was just a Kelley lashing out at it since it takes less drama and comedy get produced. ABC in particular shows no sign of giving up since they proven they can't create a hit drama, Alias while a critic favorite does only ok in the ratings, or comedy so they have to do something.

Yep. Just like last week. And the week before.

How can a seasoned TV writer like Kelley not realize that? The Lindsey/Bobby relationship thing is old, tired, and boring. It must stop.

The show's been spiriling downhill for a couple of years now, but after the past two episodes I'm thinking about officially throwing in the towel. I can put up with awkward or badly-written episodes for a show I've stuck with since the beginning. But I draw the line at boring.

Because David has stopped writing fiction. All he does now is rant. Not just this silly episode, but most of his stuff over the past 2 years has been self-serving dribble, imho.

As for whoever said why would ABC allow this? Ratings. And Les didn't do this for his SAG card ( ) he did it because he is about to get into biz with DEK.

The Brotherhood of Poland, N.H. will be DEK's first CBS show in years. Think Northen Exposure with that Kelley twist.

I thought Picket Fences was supposed to be his "Northern Exposure with that Kelley twist."

My Replay didn't mention another episode after this one, so I didn't get to see it. Was it new, or a re-run? And if it was new, what was it about?
