BTW, what grade is Jack in season 2? From what I can tell:
Joey, Dawson, Pacey, Jen, and Andrea are all in 10th grade.
Does Jack get held back a year?
From my calculations season 1 and 2 cover their sophomore (10th grade) year, and they graduate in season 4 (which is where I picked up the series).

Season 2 is definitely finely tuned and runs on 8 cylinders. I'm really enjoying season 2. Both the acting and the writing is just really good stuff.
BTW, Pacey rocks!

No kidding! Plus even with bad hair, Michelle Williams is cute in her own way. I even sort of like Meredith Monroe as well.
Seeing Monica Keena play the beyotch is funny to me because my first exposure to her was on "Undeclared" where she plays the naive, nice girl.
I still don't know why Jason Behr gets acting work, he's just really weird looking to me.

Yesterday's "month" of shows were mainly downers, but still had a lot of relational heart in them. A pleasant surprise was seeing Madchen Amick on the show. She's yummy (even if she tore Dawson a new one when she critiqued his movie - but I wonder if she secretly tanked the movie so she could crib some parts from it for her own script).

Yeah, Dawson's dad brought "Nicole" to a wedding (that Dawson and the gang were catering to help out the Icehouse), and Dawson's mom was also at the wedding (though dateless).
Now I don't know (yet) if Dawson's dad goes on more dates with Nicole.

Good grief! The season finale for Season 2 was a heartbreaker! That was awfully cruel to leave all the fans like that for the entire summer!
Now onto Season 3: Brittany Daniels. Nuff said!

While quite hard to imagine some of what happens early in season 3, still digging it. It's nice to see how Joey and Pacey find their way to each other after all that's happened before.

Holy moly! Yet another brutal season finale (for season 3). Don't know how people could wait an entire summer to see how it played out.
Now we are into season 4, and I'm finally seeing familiar characters from that season, so I guess I started to follow the show mid-way through their senior season (was never sure how many seasons the show ran before I started watching it).
It was a trip to see Danny Roberts (of The Real World New Orleans fame) on the first show of Season 4 playing a straight guy, even through his Real World experience showed him settling down into a gay lifestyle.

Wow, the "Storm" episode was pretty rough (and oh-so-inspired by "The Perfect Storm"). All that was missing was the flashback of Dawson and Pacey finding the cove earlier in their youth.
Things don't look so good for Andie after getting X'd.
Dawson needs to be hitting it with Pacey's sister, who's muy caliente.
I do know how the storyline with the old man ends, but it's good to see how it started.
I'm guessing Jack is a year older than Andie (he said he was 18, while the rest of the gang is 17), and was held back a year so that has to explain why they are in the same grade, since they are not fraternal twins.

Finally, I'm all caught up with the 1st four seasons of Dawson's Creek. I was glad that they brought Andie back for graduation (and then quickly wrote her back out of the college years). I had seen probably 8 episodes of season 4, but not the final 4 episodes, so it was good to finally get to see how Pacey's insecurities get the best of him at senior prom. Drew cracks me up, he was good for comic relief (I don't think he was in Season 5 or 6, though).
I'll probably catch the first few episodes of season 5 next week, and then see if I want to re-watch the rest of season 5 and 6. Season 6 has been mostly a wreck, but then again, college can be a wreck to people as well.
