my favorite cosby shows were always the ones with little olivia (raven simone (sp?)). the one where she gets back from japan is one of my all time greats. the olivia seasons were easily my favorite ones.

You might be the only person who thinks this. That casting ploy is one of those classic signs that a show has jumped the shark. The original cute kid (Rudy here) grows out of her cuteness so the producers bring in a new cute kid. Think Oliver and The Brady Bunch.

the thing about the original "cute kid" rudy was that i found her very irky. she annoyed the craziness out of me. hence when i think others are right with her friends. they made her less annoying.

and i know i'll be the only one with this opinion. cosby (not the cosby show) was a good show, too. doug e doug and vanessa played off eachother well as did ded and bill. the kids in that show are just as funny as the ones on the cosby show.

As far as laugh out loud funny goes, these are my choices:
  • The Simpsons
  • Family Guy
  • Night Court
  • NewsRadio
  • Married With Children

On TV now, the funniest is Scrubs, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and King of Queens. I think that these are likely to hold up over time, unlike shows like Night Court that just reak of the 80's, and lose their humor over time.
