Just to add a few things to the summary above:

OK, This is how I understand how people view shows before the air date.
They are watching the 'Wild Feeds' on the Big Satellite Dish. All the Networks air the shows in advance to the Networks around the country so they have anough time to insert the regional Commercials. Orbit Magazine (Not sure if they still due) Has a list of all the dates and times the Networks show the shows in advance. |
I remember that this is how people used to get the early Survivor results when it first aired as well. Also, you have to consider that people can often download episodes before they air as well.
As far as I know, being in Newfoundland which is the earliest prime time in North America, we often get the shows a few hours before most of the other NA markets. People that see it before it airs here either get the wildfeeds or download it... |
This was downloaded CaptStormy, the show just ended here and this is a legit satellite showing which (except Newfoundland) I think is the first to show (Global Tv, they show 2 hours in advance to Fox and another network 2 hours in advance to ABC).
Anyways, It was a good episode, I won't put a spoiler since some are there and I'm sure people read them. All in all though, I'm finding that they cram way too much in a day at this point, but good nonetheless compared to watching reality which is about as interesting as having the runs. |
I was a bit letdown in the show, although there was a holy sh*t moment for me (when you see it you will probably know what I am talking about).
I am confused about Tony's actions at the end though. |

Kim hostage/captive/arrest situations in the 2 seasons:
Season 1 1) Two stoner guys 2) Guy running the assassignation at the camp 3) Friend of nicer of the two stoner guys that wouldn't let her leave the house before the drug deal 4) Arrested by undercover cops 5) Dresdens hit the cops and take her on her way back to CTU Season 2 6) Bad daddy 7) Arrested again, this time for murder/kidnapping 8) Trapped in cougar trap (not sure this really applies, but it is close) 9) Locked in by loner nutcase guy 10) Taken hostage by guy going nuts in a robbery that isn't a robbery (Between 9 & 10, they gave us a feint, but she got away from rapist guy with the car) Does this not seem it would give any normal person a complex if it took place in less than 48 hours of real time? Apparently, when she has a bad hair day, she REALLY has a bad hair day. I really love this show, but I can't stop feeling like the writers think we are idiots to keep trying to use Kim like this as a plot device. |
Why in the world won't the writers just let Kim die! Another perfectly good opportunity wasted to get her off the show. Okay episode. I'm guessing the show is gearing up for its second wind. As for Tony's motivation at the end

i was thinking "why is palmer going to talk to the nation at 5am?" even if he was waiting til the east coast morning news shows, wouldn't he want the entire country up and awake?
|
I missed the first 20 min but I thought it was good.
Looks like Kim's good decision making phase is over. I liked the phone conversation on btwn Palmer and the deputy PM. Haysbert is great. |

Kim's storyline -rolleyes-
"Three countries" -rolleyes- Dear Fox, we're not as stupid as you think we are. das |
This whole plot is just getting silly. Besides the whole three countries bit, are we to believe that the President of the United States would start a war 3 hours after a bomb went off, knowing that people in his administration were plotting against him?
Yikes. Bring back Lady McPalmer, at least then the president won't act like a dumbass. |
About the time Robber Guy grabbed Pauline, er...Kim, she had a definite look on her face like "I should be back at Casa De Paranoia, re-enacting the Kama Sutra w/ Kevin Dillon right about now..."
The poor girl is just a trouble magnet. |
Lame lame lame.
|
Just when we thought Kim was redeeming herself in the last episode when she used the gun, we get this. Not an episode worthy of waiting 3 weeks for, though. Hopefully next week will pick up when Jack meets up w/ the 7th soldier. |
Who is that cobra guy that wants to see Marie? I didnt get a clear look at the guys face, but he looks familair. I can't think of his name though.

Three weeks worth the wait?
I for one don't think so is it just me or this plot getting lame? And as always Kim gets into trouble again so predictable well there is always the Shield to watch rather than this overrated drama.-ptth-

The Coral Snake dude is played by Gregg Henry.
I was hoping Kim would have had the smarts to shoot at the idiot father-to-be's feet to get him dancing and moving his butt out of the store. This turn of events, where Jack is now on a counter mission to CTU (to prove that the phone tap tape is bogus) is actually pretty interesting in its setup due to all the paranoia-inducing back-channel communications going on, and people choosing sides internally on how to best handle the new threat at hand (impending WWIII). |
