I saw him on Leno tonight, he has this strange facial expression when he spoke where his mouth was slanted over to one side. It was almost stroke-like. Anyone know if Ebert's OK? He sounded fine.

it's okay this is about his leno appearance. i thought ebert was good. very polite to the annoying lady who went on first. roeper however thought he was all sorts of funny with his annoying "banter" with ebert. though ebert seemed to take the high road and talk on the subject at hand. seemed like roeper was just mad ebert picked more right.

Maybe he's trying too hard to fill Gene Siskel's shoes. Whenever Siskel and Ebert were on a talk show together they were always poking fun at each other. Especially with the fat and bald jokes. Does Roeper have hair? I've never seen him. Maybe Ebert hasn't found an obvious attack point yet

Roeper looks like your typical Lincoln Park yuppie, and as much as he sucks as a movie reviewer, I really do enjoy his column.

As for Ebert, I know he had the surgery to remove the tumor, but I saw his face and what came to my mind was Bells Palsy.
