I thought this was a solid ep. Gearing things up for the season finale in a few weeks.
They finnaly got the required Jeff Kober guest appearance out of the way.
I'm glad they didn't make Trevon another Terry. I still don't see him lasting long.
Next week looks really good.

I hate the fact that when you see a known actor as a suspect in any cop show, you know he's guilty, since they won't pay someone like that for a throwaway part.

Anyway, great episode.

I'm starting to think Vic leaked the story himself. He's trying to manage Aceveda without being direct. The story stung Aceveda more than Vic, because it was a story about the entire precinct, not just the strike team. The strike team was simply "mentioned" in the story. Then Vic marches in with his "big win" idea this week and saves the day, making Aceveda more reliant on Vic than ever.
I also don't recall Vic being all that upset when he saw the story in the paper. Shane certainly was, but Vic didn't say much and even joked about it to Claudette.

It was funny seeing Trevon reel in Lainie with supposed information about Vic being dirty and inform her about a parking violation. I'm still not sure about him however.
This money train deal is destined to go sour. I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see one or more strike team members killed in this thing. Unfortunately, it will probably be a season-ending cliffhanger.
Honk!

Did you guys see the same show I did? Jeff Kober's character wasn't guilty. Well, not of the rape charge anyway.

Unless the girl was underage, which means he was guilty of statuatory rape.

Am I supposed to know Jeff Kober from something? That whole bit just seemed really weird. Maybe it was just Dutch acting even stranger than usual. I mean he seriously seemed way too happy working on that case -- at least until he met with the girl. I mean, the way he talks makes it sound like he's way too good for Claudette, then he talks about not wanting their partnership to be split up. Strange.

Didn't catch that show at all, but I've seen him on TV before and said, "hey I've seen that guy before!".
And I think the new member of the Strike Team's name is Tavon IIRC.
at Shane and Lem "borrowing" the dump truck. It totally reminded me of a similar scene in Super Troopers where the two cops are dressed up as truckers and are attempting to drive the impounded big rig to the truck stop.
Can't wait to see the assault on the Money Train.

I am starting to think that Ronnie might be back to bring the Strike Team down from the inside. Maybe he blames Vic for his face being burned and wants revenge. Just a thought...

Towards the end of the show, Vic confronted Lanie(sp?) about the Strike Team bringing in a federal fugitive, and Julian getting the carjackers. I couldn't really tell, but was he trying to overshadow what Julian had done? Was he pissed about Julian getting all of the press while they got none for a much bigger bust, or was he just using both cases as an example of how effective the Farm actually is. I couldn't really tell...

The actor who played the accused rapist -- was he also in Buffy as the vampire that the Watcher's Council sics on her for her test, and also Rack the magic drug-dealer-type in Buffy Season 6? If that is him, he's put on a lot of weight, which is why I'm not sure.
