Go Sarah!
Yeah, it was interesting to find out that she thought there were some serious flaws with that season. Even more interesting that Whedon apparently waved her off with the same, "If you don't like it, you just don't understand the darkness." line he was giving fans.

Of course, the interview also confirms something that Whedon and Noxon were denying all last season--that Whedon had essentially abandoned the show to go work on Firefly.

This article did a lot to improve my opinion of SMG; it was a very interesting read.

Not much new here but I haven't seen it posted yet. A friend sent this to me, said it was from IMDB (I haven't actually confirmed that)...

It's official - Sarah Michelle Gellar's hit TV series Buffy The Vampire Slayer is set to end once its current season wraps. After seven years, the massively popular cult series is set to come to an end in May. Gellar concedes, "Buffy, in this incarnation, is over." The series will wrap up with a five-part story, which will include

the return of Faith, the bad-girl slayer, and Buffy's first love, Angel
. Gellar says, "We're gearing up to tell a fabulous, huge, great arc. It's going to be pretty spectacular." But the show may come back to life in some form - its creator, Joss Whedon, is planning a spin-off that may include some Buffy cast members. Gellar gained fame on the cult hit as Buffy Summers, a perky high school student burdened with the responsibility of killing vampires in the seemingly idyllic town of Sunnydale, California.
