coupling 2/23

it seems to me that this season, so far each episode has started slowly but gotten better towards the end. same goes here. by the last 10 minutes where steve starts to go into his toilet soliliquy and sally's revalation, i was laughing really really hard. i like how the writers are focusing a bit more on the others besides steve and susan. while it it is good to see them, i like how the others are being used well.

I kind of like the slow start, they seem to do it for a reason (building a joke) and do it well.
This week is the style I prefer where they could all be thought of as "supporting" actors with no star, instead of focusing on one or two characters and the rest chime it with a witty line.

I was laughing so hard tonight, mostly from the toilet humor (no pun intended), that I actually missed some of the dialog. Especially the de-clenching. I can sympathise... my lock is broke. And Jeff's version of a lesbian encounter-
"Jane, could you help me soap my breasts?."
"Your breasts, Sally?"
"Yes, Jane, it's those tricky undersides."
"Oh, I know what you mean, Sally, breasts can be a real dirt-trap."

BTW- Next week is season 3's final episode.
