Well, at least they have Zach Braff doing the voiceover. BTW, what is it with these actors in their prime doing voiceovers lately? It just seems there are more doing it than ever. I can understand someone like Gene Hackman doing the Lowe's commercials because at his age it's hard for him to do movies, but John Cusack, Kevin Spacey, Matt Dillon, George Clooney, Julia Roberts? Do they really need the work?

Any commercial for medication... The one's that get to me is when the person explains the side effects to their friends as if something like this comes up in a normal conversation.

As annoying as the HeadOn commercials are, they manage to make them even more annoying with those shrill bastards complaining about how annoying the commercials are in the commercial itself. On top of that, it's homeopathic which is why they can't tell you what it does in the commercial. It DOESN'T do anything. If you are going to annoy me, at least annoy me with a real product and not some snake oil.

Dang, you beat me to it! Yes, Head-On company, as nerve-jangling annoying as your original commercial was, having alleged "satisfied customers" repeat the jingle at the bottom of the screen is not helping--it's just as bad, if not worse. Especially that one frizzy haired harpy--look into her wild-eyed stare if you dare, and tell me she is not a 100% certified psychopath.

The Head-On people have also recently branched out with a couple of other products: Active On and Itch-Off or something like that. I was hoping that the commercials were so annoying that the public at large would shun their products and they'd quickly go out of business, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

You'd think that the fact the product itself is pure quackery would be enough. But then again, "Smiling Bob" is still shilling Enzyte after being exposed as yet more quackery years ago. Televangelist Peter Popoff is still on TV selling "miracle spring water" after being exposed as a fraud 20 years ago by James Randi on the Tonight Show. It wasn't that long ago we were putting green magic marker around the edge of CDs "to make them sound better" (at least that was free). Never underestimate the public's desire to be fooled.

Those Axe "Boom Chicka Wah Wah" commercials have been driving me absolutely mad lately. I have to actually change the channel when they come on. I seriously wish a great deal of harm on everyone involved with the making of these commercials.

Hoveround Power Chair Commercial they air during the Price is Right. Those annoying senior citizens trying to sing an old Judy Garland song while driving their mobile chair all over the place.

And those Creepy Orville Redenbacher Commercials.

Does anyone else here have InSight cable service? For several months now they've been running a series of commercials that rip off "The Office" big time. They're supposedly set in the "real life" offices of InSight's headquarters, and show the "quirky" employees having humorous meetings. They even do the "talking heads" segments, just like on the real Office.

They try extremely hard to be funny, but they most definitely are not. Imagine if you replaced all the actors on the "Office" with actual everyday office workers who can't even act like themselves, and you'll get an idea how excrutiating these commercials are. They wouldn't be funny even if they were original creations, but when held up next to their "inspiration," their unfunniness is underscored all the more. Note to the producers--don't try doing parodies of something that's already funny.

They're so annoying that I'm tempted to switch cable companies, but then I remembered I'd have to pay another $100 for their "free" installation. I've thought about contacting NBC and letting them know someone is airing a poorly written, unauthorized parody of one of their shows.

The Visa Card commercial set in the gardening store. Where everything is sunny, happy and fast-moving until some horrible, horrible person whips out her checkbook and brings about the end of civilization.

As someone who's never succumbed to owning a credit card and still writes checks, I get kinda peeved about that one...

All those verizon commercials with the people dancing while talking on the phone, like people do that in real life. In fact all the verizon commericials where at the end they go "phone, broadband, tv, mobile, spy satellites, chemical weapons." I might have made the last two up.
