I can't believe they killed Karen I thought for sure she was going to start moving again or something, but she didn't. It should get alot more interesting now. I wonder what this pheonix storyline is leading to.

I wasn't really shocked, nor did It make me "feel" anything. My reaction was simply "huh, they killed off Karen. Easy way to get rid of her I guess, since she hasn't been seen on the show in almost 2 months".

Yeah...makes me wonder who else is next...

I got in late so I only caught the last half of this. I can't believe they killed her either. These episodes that deal with his past are alot better then the filler episodes.

That is because they are playing these episodes out of order. This episode was probably supposed to have been shown before the ones without her in them. The other lady that was put on a helicopter was the one that called out to him on the boat that time.

waitaminnit...FOX is showing eps out of order...nahhhhh...they wouldn't do something like that..

That's who I was thinking it was but couldn't remember what she looked like exactaly. Did they have any info about who she was or why they wanted her?

Wow, that was a great episode. Finally another one that moves the plot along. Seems half the episodes are 'filler' ones, which aren't bad, but don't really do much. The other half deal with the overall plot.

I know a lot of people found Karen annoying, but I liked her. Kind of sad to see her go.

I thought they had dragged Karen with them up into the helicopter, so I was really confused when her body was found by Doe and Digger (who's got some secrets or two as well...)

looking at the list on TVTome.com, yes they played them out of order, but this one was still after all the episodes without Karen that we saw previous.

According to this, only the two previous were switched, and the episode that comes before this last one is on next (in like 3 weeks apparently).

Sure I finally give up on the show and now it starts to get interesting. I did see a minute or two of this weeks episode who was that girl on the train? It was like right at the beginnning of the episode. I think Digger is a part of all of this I have thought that for a while now but he seems conveniently available could be like a "watcher" or something.

The girl is "named" Teresa IIRC.

Can someone explain this whole Phoenix thing? I might start watching again if it isn't sucking anymore.

They took all his information too, so now he has to try to remember all the stuff he collected or re-get it. He had a lot of info in that "hidden" room.

Definitely the best episode that they have aired in awhile. Loved the twists and turns it took - definitely getting more interesting now. Nice mural they painted, ain't it?

I missed it! I don't suppose someone could summarize it? Or better yet (since it apparently had a lot of twists), is there somewhere online where I can look? TWP doesn't have a listing for it.

Summary:
1. Karen gets an Art Scholarship

2. John's apartment get broken into (takes all the suff from secret room and leaves bomb)

3. John leaves Karen holding bomb and leave room to disarm it. She gets kidnapped when John is out of the room.

4. They track down all the cars in the area that pass a cetain stoplight (red light runner camera).

5. One of the cars belonged to a Deaf lawyer. They track him down to a mass suicide.

6. Our government captures him and wants to team up with him against the deaf people. John says no.

7. John gets a call from Karen. HELP! He figures out where she is.

8. Back to the original island. Deaf people leave island with the only other girl that John knows (she called him Tommy from a boat)

9. THe deaf people (that took Karen) are gone and left her dead corpse.

10. Karen's Funeral

11. A nurse finds john and tells him someone wants to talk to him.

12. It's that old red head spy lady. She tells him that the deaf people are looking for the Staff (Pheniox Staff??) and after they find it they will look for him.

13. She says that he is the pheniox project. Then the old lady dies.

14. He paints a wall in honor of Karen.

15. Camera shows the Staff then pans to the window. Vatican.
