You realize she was only 17 when she did that episode?

;)

enjoy it, and if you've seen the movie, it indeed is dead on

Now that you point out that she was 17, I realize that her breasts were not large.

"Cocoa is for cobblers only!"

"You rode a hedgehog to work, and I got here on a talking moose, that's my name!"

That might be my favorite. Not only is the script a dead-on parody, but Alec Baldwin almost perfectly reprises his performance (I think his slipup with the ABCs was because he was so into the cadence of the speech). Hilarious.

That was the very last sketch of the episode. I watched that episode live, and I remember almost turning off the TV before it aired. Glad I didn't.

The Guy Who Plays Mr. Belvedere Fan Club:

I should like watching Mr. Belvedere a lot. I shouldn't have to masturbate at the end of every episode.

I should want to cook him a simple meal, but I shouldn't want to cut into him, to tear the flesh, to wear the flesh, to be born unto new worlds where his flesh becomes my key.

John Belushi as Liz Taylor and choking on a piece of chicken.

Chris Farley as the motivational guy, stomping out a lit bag of dogshit that was left on the front porch as a Halloween Prank

The Mr Bill skits

The "bumpers" they used to do before the show started back in the 70's, such as Mr Pardo announcing, "Little House that Burned Down on the Prairie will not be shown tonight so we can bring you the following..."

Or when they'd scan the camera to pick an audience member and then put a caption under them, making fun of them. (also from the shows in the 70's)

When Robin Williams played an expectant father and had a camcorder going when his was wife was being wheeled in to give birth to the baby.

"Amazing Time Savers" with Mike Myers and Heather Lockear - and her acting like a bigot during the show, and how all the phones would start ringing when she'd say something un-PC.

Dana Carvey as Head-Wound Harry

David Spade and his snarky "Hollywood Minute"

I'm sure there's more...

My favorite skit starred Jerry Steve Dave...the Magic Man. It was just so random and good.

Put me down for Farrell as Harry Carey, especially the skit with Jeff Goldblum.

Pretty much any and everything John Belushi did.....

but have to give a nod to Chris Farley...the skit with him and Patrick S. auditioning for male dancers was a hoot

-William Shatner at a Trekkie convention calling them a bunch of losers and telling them to get a life. I think it was around 1986, and then he said to Jon Lovitz who was wearing Spock Ears, "Have you ever even kissed a girl?"

-Chris Farley and Patrick Swayze trying out as Male Dancers.

-Eddie Murphy singing Buck Wheat's greatest hits, "Wookin Pa Nub in all da wong pwaces...."

-Martin Short and Christopher Guest as Olympic Synchronized Swimmers (If anyone has seen this, they'll know how funny it is as.)

-Christopher Walken playing the manager of the band that wants more Cowbells!

For some reason, the SNL moment that made me laugh uncontrollably originally and still makes me laugh until I cry is the commercial for the bank that waited too long to get a website address and ended up with http://clownpenis.fart

I am honestly in tears just typing it.

LOL, yeah that one still gets me as well; in the context of the time, it was completely pitch-perfect.

Posted this in the Netflix SNL thread:

Some more clips I just caught: the Danny Aiello episode(Season 21) was full of great skits like Althea, Mama's Spaghetti Sauce, and the Time-Life collection of best relationship fights, the Locklear(Season 19 end of episode) racist informercial bit, the abbreviated words informercial with Jason Patric(season 19 middle of episode), the Superfans bit with Ackroyd reprising the shady toymaker(Season 20 John Goodman middle of episode), and the Ron Wood/Mike Myers Talkin' with Suel/Kattan bit(Season 22 John Goodman middle of episode).

Another good group of skits are the Rita ones with Stallone and Walken as well as the various celebrity-themed restaurants.

I'm not going to dig too deep. But this was a pinnacle in recent years.

Billy Crystal & Christopher Guest as security guards talking about the things they do to hurt themselves. Each story ends with the line "I hate when that happens".

I don't know if I've ever laughed harder at this show than when Eddie Murphy did that sketch where he's done up as a white guy.

"That silly Negro! Hahahahaha!"
